Chapter Eleven

 I was going grocery shopping with the kids, which was such a hard thing to do because they would pick up everything they seen. Brielle was helping me, but it was too much. We were going through the register. Caleb fell asleep a while ago. After I paid and put the bags into the two carts we had, I walked out of Walmart.

 I looked around, crossing the street. I hit the trunk button on my key, allowing the trunk to open. We put the bags into the back. Brielle closed the trunk, while Leilani and Christian took the baskets to the return bin. They came back, getting in. I got into the driver seat, putting the key into the ignition. I backed out, pulling off.

 ‘’Kai’lani I was wondering something.’’ Brielle said, playing with her black stiletto nails.

 ‘’Yeah what’s up?’’ I asked, turning the corner.

 ‘’I wanna visit my mom.’’ She said. I nodded, driving. Brielle has every right to seeing her mom.

 ‘’I’ll take you by there, after your dad gets home.’’ I said. She nodded, looking out of the window. The car ride was quiet. Mostly because Kalia knocked out as soon as she got into the car. I pulled up to the house, pulling the car into the garage. We got out, walking to the trunk. We all grabbed some bags, taking them into the kitchen.

 I walked back out, grabbing Caleb and Kalia. I walked into the house, upstairs to their bedroom. I placed Kalia in her bed, then placed Caleb in his’s. I walked out of their room, back downstairs. I walked to the kitchen to see that they were done, putting up the food.

 ‘’You guys can do whatever.’’ I said. They walked out of the kitchen. I sat down, looking down. The door opened and Chris walked into the kitchen.

 ‘’Hey babe.’’ Chris said, pecking my cheek. I smiled, getting up. I walked into the living room.

 ‘’Come on, Bre.’’ I said. She got up, walking over to me. ‘’Baby, Bre and I are going somewhere!’’ I shouted, walking out of the house. We walked out to Chris’s Lamborghini. I got in, putting the key into the ignition. I pulled off, turning up the radio. I drove down the street. I was looking ok. I was in one of Chris’s Pink Dolphin sweaters, sweats, with my Infrared Jordan’s. My hair was in a messy bun.

 I pulled up to the prison, parking. We got out, walking up to the door. We walked inside, to the front door.

 ‘’Hi, who are you here to see?’’ The woman asked.

 ‘’Karrueche Tran.’’ I stated. She typed something into the computer.

 ‘’Ok, go down that hall to our visitor’s window. She’ll be out momentarily.’’ The woman said. I nodded, as Bre and I began to walk down the hall. We seen a wall with windows like at a bank. Karrueche sat in front of one with her jumpsuit. Bre sat down, picking up the phone. Karrueche looked up at me, smiling.

 After all these years, I think I could be able to build a friendship with Karrueche. She can be a  sweetheart from what I hear. Her and Bre were in a deep conversation.

 ‘’Kai’lani she wants to talk to you.’’ Bre said. I nodded, sitting down. I grabbed the phone.

 ‘’Hi Kai’lani.’’ She greeted.

 ‘’Hey Karrueche.’’ I said, looking at her.

 ‘’Thank you for everything you’ve did for Brielle. I’ll be getting out in a couple weeks and I want a relationship with her, if you don’t mind.’’ She said.

 ‘’I don’t mind. I want a truce between us. I need a friend right now.’’ I said. She nodded.

 ‘’I understand. I’ll probably get some of my jobs back but I’ll be in the eye of the paparazzi.’’ She said.

 ‘’I understand, you don’t know how hard it is to have kids growing up around that.’’ I said. She nodded.

 ‘’Anyway I have to get back to my ceil. Thank you again, tell Chris I said hello.’’ She said. I nodded, getting up. Bre and I walked away. Karrueche seems like she has changed for the better. I can’t believe she’s behind these bars. We walked out of the prison, walking back out ot the Lamborghini. I got in, putting the key into the ignition. I pulled off, sighing.

 ‘’My mom has gotten better.’’ She said. I nodded, smiling.

 ‘’She’s not really bad, I guess she was going through some things. I want you to continue to see your mother. You need her in your life.’’ I said. She nodded. I pulled up to the house, pulling into the garage. We got out, walking into the house. Chris was playing with Christian and Leilani.

 ‘’Where did you go?’’ Chris asked.

 ‘’To visit my mom.’’ Bre said, walking upstairs.

 ‘She said hi.’’ I said, walking into the kitchen. I sat down, grabbing my phone. Chris walked into the kitchen.

 ‘’You took Bre to see Karrueche?’’ He asked.

 ‘’She deserves to see her mom Chris.’’ I said. I know Chris doesn’t want Bre around Karrueche but that’s her mom. I walked out of the kitchen. Chris is just gonna have to deal about it. Even if he likes it or not.
