It’s been two weeks ever since that day. I had to go back to the house, because Christian called me telling me Caleb wouldn’t do anything till’ I was back. Chris has been sleeping on the couch, while I’m upstairs sleeping in the master bedroom. I think Chris regrets marrying me, I honestly do. I got out of the bed, walking downstairs. The kids were running around.

‘’Aye!’’ I shouted, making all of them stop in place. ‘’Where is your dad?’’ I asked. They all shrugged their shoulder. Brielle wasn’t up, so I know Chris is out somewhere. ‘’Sit down, and stop running.’’ I said, walking into the kitchen. Brielle was in the kitchen, with her head on the counter. She was probably asleep. ‘’Bre.’’ I said, shaking her.

‘’Hmm?’’ She asked, looking up. Her hair was all over the place and she looked awful.

‘’Where is your dad?’’ I asked.

‘’I don’t know. The twins were up at five this morning, and they came jumping on my bed. They told me they were hungry, so I came down here and fed them. I walked into the living room, but them on the couch. Dad wasn’t in there, so I don’t where he was. I walked back into here, then I fell asleep.’’ She explained.

‘’I got them, you can go to your room and sleep.’’ I said. She nodded, walking out of the kitchen. I walked upstairs. I checked every room in this house. I walked downstairs, to the living room. All of them were watching TV. I walked back upstairs to the bedroom. I grabbed my phone, calling Ty.

 ‘’Hello?’’ He asked.

‘’Hi Ty, have you talked to Chris?’’ I asked.

‘’Not since yesterday mornin’. Why?’’ He asked.

‘’He’s not here now. Brielle was up at five this morning, and he wasn’t here.’’ I said, walking around the room.

‘’Well, I’ll call you if something pop up.’’ He said.

‘’Thanks Ty.’’ I said, hanging up. I’m not going to worry and stress myself out. I walked downstairs, sitting down on the couch beside Kalia and Christian. Speaking of Chris, he walked into the living room. ‘’Upstairs, now!’’ I shouted, getting up. I walked upstairs, to our bedroom. Chris walked in behind me. I closed the door. ‘’Where the fuck have you been?’’ I asked.

‘’Nowhere that concerns you, damn hop off my dick.’’ He said.

‘’Just tell me if you’re cheating Chris!’’ I shouted. He just stood there, looking at me with a mad expression. ‘’Fuck you, fuck all of this! I told you I was going to be your rider and now I’m just riding by my damn self!’’ I shouted, shoving him. All of this is making me break down inside.

‘’Stop, putting your damn hands on me.’’ He said, shoving me. Strike one.

‘’Don’t put your damn hands on me.’’ I said, shoving him twice as hard before. He shoved me back, making me hit my head. ‘’Is this what you want your kids around?’’ I asked, walking out of the room. I walked downstairs, to the kitchen. I grabbed a ice pack, putting it back on my head. I walked into the living room, sitting there.

‘’Mommy are you ok?’’ Caleb asked. I nodded my head, laying back. He vowed never to put his hands on me.

‘’Mom, what’s wrong?’’ Leilani asked. This girl can sense stuff. Ever since that little moving to the beach, she has always been alert.

‘’Nothing, Lani. Everything good, my head just hurts.’’ I said, smiling. She nodded, turning around. Chris walked downstairs, looking at me with a sad expression. ‘’Do y’all want go swim in the pool?’’ I asked. They all nodded, running upstairs. Chris walked over to me. ‘’Don’t even try to apologize.’’ I said, getting up. I walked upstairs, checking on the kids. They were all ready.

‘’Last one there is a rotten egg.’’ Christian said. All of them, ran down to the stairs. I walked down behind them, out to the pool. They all were in the pool, having fun. I sat down, letting my feet go into the water. Chris sat down beside me.

‘’I’m sorry.’’ He apologized. I sat there, looking away from him. Memories from my childhood came back.

‘’I don’t need ya’ sorry. A real man never puts his hands on his woman or any woman matter of fact.’’ I snapped, looking at the kids. He looked away in shame. He knows what he did was wrong.

‘’What can I do to make it up to you?’’ He asked.

‘'Not to talk to me.’’ I said, getting up. I walked into the house, upstairs. I changed into my bikini then walked downstairs. I jumped into the pool, coming back up. All the kids were playing volleyball. I just stayed to myself, looking at my wedding ring. I took it off, looking at it. ‘’What does this ring symbolize?’’ I asked to myself.

‘’Our undying love each other.’’ Chris said.

‘’That’s not what I’m filling now.’’ I said, handing him the ring. I swam away, over to the other side of the pool. I feel like this marriage is at it’s end, I honestly do.
