 Cameron wanted the kids and I to accompany him and Cam to a house he just built. I dressed myself in a grey American Apparel loose crop tank, teal and pink Vixen Village palazzo pants, with nude Valentino rockstud leather-textured sandals. My hair was down straight. The kids were ready in the car, but I need some snacks from them in case the would get hungry.

 I walked out of the house to the truck. I got in, putting my purse and snacks back with Kalia and Caleb. I pulled off, turning up the radio. Everyone was having their own conversation. It was hot outside today. It’s been two more additional months since I was in the hospital with a concussion.  Cameron was right there, helping me.

 Chris came by the hospital, and him and Cameron got into a altercation. Chris wanted to fight him but Cameron just walked away like a real man. I pulled up to the house, getting out. Cam ran over to me, giving me a big hug.

 ‘’Hey Cam.’’ I greeted.

 ‘’Hi Kai.’’ He said, getting down. Cameron walked over to me, giving me a passionate kiss on the lips. I smiled, pulling away.

 ‘’No in front of the kids lover boy.’’ I smiled, pecking his lips. He nodded. They all ran up to him, hugging him with hugs and stuff.  

 ‘’Well come on in.’’ Cameron said, leading us into the house. We walked in and it was beautiful. ‘’The house also has it’s own private beach, basketball court, and a swimming pool.’’ He said. I wish I could live in a house like this. We walked into the kitchen, and I almost passed out.

 ‘’Oh my gosh look at this kitchen!’’ I said, walking around the kitchen. It was truly beautiful. We walked upstairs and the kids were running through the bedroom.

 ‘’I have a surprise for everyone.’’ Cameron said. All of the kids ran back over to Cameron and I. ‘’This is actually our new house. The rooms are personalized, like for Caleb’s room it’s like a car theme and Kalia is a purple theme because that’s her favorite color.’’ He said. I walked down the hall to a room. I opened the door and put my hands to my mouth.

 I walked inside admiring everything. It was so beautiful and I just didn’t know how to take it all in. I felt arms wrap around my waist.

 ‘’This is so beautiful.’’ I said.

 ‘’I have a surprise for you downstairs.’’ He said. He lead me out of the bedroom, downstairs. We walked outside and I was surprised. In the sand it said, Will You Marry Me? Everyone that was close to me was here. My sisters, my dad, Ms. Joyce, Cameron’s parents and his brothers, and some close friend.

 ‘’What do I say?’’ I asked.

 ‘’Say yes!’’ Everyone urged.

 ‘’Yes Cameron, I’ll marry you.’’ I said. He slid the ring on my finger, giving me a passionate kiss. I pulled away, looking at the ring. Everyone crowded around me, looking at the ring. They gasped because this ring was bigger than the ring Chris came me when he asked me to marry him.

 ‘’I love you princess.’’ Cameron said.

 ‘’I love you too.’’ I said, smiling.

 I was sitting on the couch, watching TV. Kelana and I are on a break right now. My mom walked through the door with a smile on her face.

 ‘’What’s up mama?’’ I asked, flipping through channels.

 ‘’Kai is about to get marry.’’ She said, sitting down. I look at her so fast, she would have thought I had whiplash.

 ‘’What?’’ I asked.

 ‘’Yeah, Cameron proposed to her on the beach and boy was that ring big. He built a house for her Chris. Everything was beautiful, I wonder how their children would look.’’ My mom said, walking into the kitchen. Wow the first girl I ever was in love with is marrying another man. The doorbell rung. I got up, opening the door. It was Kai and the kids.

 ‘’Hey daddy!’’ Kalia said, jumping into my arms. I smiled.

 ‘’Kids go play.’’ I said. They all ran upstairs to the game room. I stepped outside, looking down at her. ‘’I heard the news, congratulations.’’ I said. She nodded, walking off. I grabbed her arm.

 ‘’What Chris? I’ve gotta get back to the house.’’ She asked.

 ‘’Are you happy?’’ I asked, looking down at her.

 ‘’Yes Chris I’m happy. I moved on, you have fun with your off-brand me.’’ She said, walking off. I walked back into the house, sitting down on the couch. My mom sat down beside me, rubbing my back.

 ‘’Christopher you should have treated her right and you could have kept her but you need to move on.’’ My mom advised. I sighed, shaking my head.

 ‘’She’s engaged to be married.’’ I said.

 ‘’Yes and you need to stop looking back. You move forward, you got six kids to deal with. I will always love Kai as if she was my own but you need to stop going back to the days and stop because you need to just move to the next one.’’ She said.

 ‘’She called Kelana the off brand her.’’ I said. My mom scratched at the back of her neck.

 ‘’Well don’t you think that Kelana and Kai’lani sound alike and she does look like Kai a little bit.’’ She said. I sighed, as Kalia ran over to me.

 ‘’Daddy were moving into a big house.’’ Kalia said. I sat her in my lap, looking at her.

 ‘’You are? How big is your room?’’ I asked. She got up and started running around the living room, measuring the room. I think one thing I will always love Kai for is our children.
