321 PAGES ON WORD OH MY LORDY HOW.
And that's it! It's officially over! Wow! I started this last August, uploaded it last November, and now, here in July, it's finally over! But the story for Sorita and Jeremy is only just beginning, because there are still huge mysteries over Jeremy. Go ahead and read the spin-off I've started, called 'Living It'. For now, say goodbye to this story, because it's over! I really enjoyed writing this book, and I hope to go back at some point in my life and fix things that are pretty loose with the storyline, maybe even tidy up some chapters, to make it seem like an actual book.
Feedback would be lovely! Thanks, loves!

*Also, dedicated to my one and only best friend for life, Wayward_Raybird wHO IS STILL STUCK ON CHAPTER 8 BUT THAT'S ALL GOOD IT'S OKAY.
See you Cookies in Living It, hopefully!
Chapter 35
Alina
“Come on,” Aiden murmurs in my ear. “Dance with me.”
I’m nervous. I’m nervous as hell, and he knows that. How can he be asking to dance with me, when, at any given moment, I could die, and somebody else could die with me? How?
He shakes his head at me, like he knows what I’m thinking. “Come on, Princess. Remember what I said.”
To have a little fun tonight, even if it’s miniscule. But I don’t know if I can do that. I’m freaking out. I’m freaking out!
Aiden drops his hands to my wrists and tugs me forward, gently, to see if I comply. I kind of just let him limply drag me to the middle of the dance floor, just as a slow song comes on. Just our luck.
Aiden grins at me, pulling me directly to the center. “Let loose, Princess,” he murmurs, snaking his arms around my waist. I take a short, deep, breath, and rest my arms at his neck, and offer him a small smile.
He smiles back. “There we go, lovely.” He kisses me quickly before mumbling, “You look really beautiful. But you always do, so, no surprise there.”
I laugh at his cheesy comments, because, truth is, I love them.
His forehead suddenly creases as he stares off at something behind me. I immediately get ready to kick off my shoes and run, but Aiden then looks back at me and smiles.
I whip my head around, but I don’t see any Jared.
Aiden realizes that he worried me, so he instantly says, “Oh, hell, sorry Alina, I didn’t mean to scare you. It’s just…I thought…I could have sworn that I just saw Jeremy standing right there.”
I stare at Aiden, wondering if he’s joking or not. I mean, finding out that Jeremy left the country was so shocking. Sorita was hurt, she was really hurt, and I could tell, despite the tough front she put on. He just up and left, and it’s not him leaving that killed her, it’s more the message behind it.
He basically implied that he doesn’t think Sorita’s in her right mind and that if he stayed, she would have gotten us all killed, so he left to save himself, and that’s just the worst thing to do to Sorita.
Aiden catches the look I give him, and he scoffs. “I’m not joking, Alina. I literally saw him there. And then somebody passed between and he just vanished.”
I sigh, leaning my head to his chest, swaying to the music with him. He smiles and forgets the whole Jeremy spotting. And I let myself be happy, even if for just this one song. This one small moment. The future is unknown; my future is unknown, and I want at least one happy thing before the possibility of there being no future for me.
