Jacob Rose finished 3rd after Jessie Little got into his rear bumper forcing him up the track. After 5 weeks off the truck drivers are here at Dover, carrying the momentum before the drivers' spring break Justin Haley starts in 5th. 4th place starter is the 4 truck of Todd Gilliland. 3rd is that wicked fast 51 truck of Jacob Rose. 2nd is the 8 of John Hunter Nemechek. On pole position for, today is the 21 truck of Johnny Sauter. The trucks are rounding turn 4 for the start here at Dover. The green flag is out!"
"Into turn 1 Sauter defends from John Hunter with an advantage from the 51 of Rose. Sauter clears the 8 as Rose goes side by side into turn 3. Underneath John Hunter, Jacob gets loose and spins out! He slides to the top side and thankfully gets avoided from everyone as the caution flies."
"Ok guys this truck is absolute trash. We need to add around 2 rounds of wedge and maybe a spring rubber. We just need to do anything to fix this."
"10-4 Jacob. We thought the truck would react fine to the adjustments. We were very wrong."
After the stop, Jacob is in 31st place as the 15 truck of Reed Sorenson pulls off the track with battery failure.
"Green flag is back out at Dover!"
Jacob already is making up position passing the 6, 53, 1, 10, and 22 after one lap. Ahead of him is the 7 of Korbin Forrister. Jacob drops low but Korbin blocks late!
"Caution is out! Korbin Forrister is in the inside wall after what looks like contact from the front end of the 51."
"What was I supposed to do? He blocked extremely late and didn't give me enough room. I feel bad but man I'm surrounded by idiots."
"I understand. Just be calm and we can get back to the front."
"After 3 laps of clean up, we're back green with 53 laps left!"
Jacob moves up to P10 after 10 laps and moves into a potential race winning position.
**time skip to 5 to go**
"Jacob has fought back to 5th place and that looks like where he will stay. In the front, Noah Gragson and Johnny Sauter are battling for the win! Noah is right behind Sauter as they take the white flag! Into turn 1 Gragson gets right beside Sauter! Into turn 3 Noah gets loose and spins! Sauter gets spun as well! Matt Crafton drives through the crash and will win at Dover! Justin Haley will take 2nd and Jacob Rose will steal 3rd!"
