"Welcome to Kentucky for the 12th race of the Camping World Truck Series. On the pole is the #51 of Jacob Rose with his boyfriend on top of the pitbox once again. Starting 2nd is Justin Haley, someone who Jacob knows well and won't easily let him by."

"Ok Jacob, 225 miles. Keep your head down. You can easily win this race. Do it for everyone back at the shop and everyone back in Indy."

"Will do, let's win the race so we have a massive gap to 2nd."

"As the 32 trucks round turn number 4, Jacob Rose will lead them to green one more time! Haley and Rose run side by side through turn 1. Rose clears Haley and starts to drive off into the distance as lap 1 is completed. This is looking like another race dominated by that 51 truck."

As 5 laps are completed, Jacob Rose gets into the zone every driver wants to be in. He's not even worrying about the other trucks, he's just in his thoughts. He hears his crew chief but only slightly. He keeps asking if he needs anything but he stays silent. Jacob stays like this for almost 25 laps when he starts reporting the truck sliding a bit into turn 1. At this point, he has an 8-second lead over Matt Crafton and doesn't need to worry. Rose dives into pits with about 60 laps to go just past the halfway mark. When he dives pits all he takes is fuel and tires. No problems with the 51 truck as he drives off pit road onto the track. Jacob all he wants to do is win, he already decided on what he wants to do, he wants to win and after his burnout, just stop and lay down on the track with Nick, he doesn't want an interview or anything. With 15 to go, Jacob asks the crew what the gap is to 2nd. He is told over 17 seconds or almost half the track. Jacob's mind starts racing about his plans, he knows he still has a race to win, but that's not in his thoughts. For once he's appearing slower than 2nd place and has to be reminded that there's still a race to be won. Jacob takes the white flag and knows he's going to win, he drives out of turn 4 and wins at Kentucky!

"Hell yes! Wooooo! Amazing run guys, absolutely amazing! I love how this truck handled!"

Jacob starts his burnout in the grass but gets stuck after rain from the night before. He tries to get the truck out but is completely stuck. He climbs out and walks to his pitbox. He helps Nick down from the pitbox and walks with him back to the track before sliding in the grass as a celebration. He hops back up and takes his gloves and helmet finally off. He sets them in the truck before sitting down on the start/finish line, finally, after years of struggling at this track he finally broke through to win a race. The TV crew tries to interview him but he pushes them away. Jacob's eyes are sparkling with excitement and the moment started to get to him, it took several wins in trucks and Xfinity but they all hit him at once, at this moment time stood still for Jacob, all the time he tried to win a race it all culminated to this race win. He looks up at Nick with tears in his eyes. He stands up and gives him a kiss before whispering in his ear, "I've finally done it." Jacob grabs Nick's hand as they walk to victory lane. While walking Jacob wipes away some of the tears, all the emotions he's going through, everything he had to hide and fight for, all was let out right then. He walks past his team, they are celebrating another great race win. He walks past a set of grandstands, some fans cheer while other boo and throw around offensive terms to him and his boyfriend, Jacob doesn't care, the hate he gets drives runs like this. They finally arrive at victory lane, the team celebrates as Jacob and Nick sit against the truck. Finally, after a short celebration, they go back to the motorhome and go to sleep.

(Finally, I finished it. Next is Eldora which will be started later today)
