Dad Jake x Daughter reader

Jake was sleeping on the couch since he hasn't been sleeping.

"Dad" you said softly, he didn't do anything but roll over a bit "Dad wake up".

"What" he said in a tired tone.

"School is starting soon" you said.
Jake slowly opened his eyes, he grabs his phone from the coffee table and looked at the time "Shit" he said as he sat up fast and walked into the kitchen to make you breakfast.

You sat quietly at the table waiting for your father to finish cooking "Dad ... do you miss mom?".

Jake stopped cooking and breathes softly "sometimes".

"What was she like?".

Jake put the food on the plate and walked over to the table, he put the plate in front of you and sat down across from you "your mother was adventurous, determined and a badass" he smiled softly "I just wish she was here to see you all grown up".

You smiled and began eating "mom sounds amazing".

"She was" he looked at you "you have her (E/C) eyes".

"I don't think you told me how you and mom met" you said while looking at him.

He smiled and leans back in his chair "that's another story for another time" he stood up and looked at the time "you better hurry up, the bus will be here soon".

"You better tell me how you and mom met when I get home" you said with a smile.

"Will do sweetheart" Jake smiled.

"Promise" you held up your pinky.

"I promise" he said a she wrapped his pinky around yours.
