Drama Is All Over The Place

Chapter Five

Vanessa's Pov-
Ash and I had been at the mall for over an hour shopping and walking around. Since I began dating Kevin and working, I haven't had time to see Ash, I felt bad about it. "So do you think we'll see the guys before they leave for tour?" Ash asked, making me snap back into reality; "Huh? Oh, I'm not sure. I asked Kevin and he didn't know." She nodded and said "Howie said the same thing." I sighed and said , "Who knows. Wanna find a place to sit down? My legs need a break from this walking and so do yours." With a faint giggle, she nodded and we went to find a place to sit.

We ended up sitting by Victoria's Secret, which we didn't mind. I stared at the store as Ashley talked, soon my eyes caught on to a person; Jessica! I prayed Ash wouldn't notice, but it was too late, she spotted us and began to walk towards us. "Oh well hey Vanessa and if isn't the girl always with MY BOYFRIEND. " she said glaring at Ash. Ashley had tensed up and said "He was my best friend, before he was your boyfriend." Jessica rolled her eyes and looked back at me then asked "So why are you sitting outside the store?" Rolling my eyes I answered with "We're just resting. Why the hell are you here?" She laughed and said "Well with Howie leaving on tour soon, I thought I would buy something for him. A goodbye gift if you will." She glanced at Ashley who was getting angry. Not wanting a fight, I stood up pulling Ash with me and said "Well we best be on our way. " And with that we walked off.

Ashley didn't want to hang out at the mall anymore, so we decided to head back to my place... On the way, I kept replaying what happened back there, finally I got curious and had to ask. "Ashley?" I asked, "Yeah?" she said. " Why did you get so tense back there? I know you don't like Jessica, but when she mentioned why she was in Victoria's Secret and brought up Howie yo....." It suddenly hit me. "Ash, do you like Howie?" *SCREECH!* She slammed on the breaks and looked at me like I was crazy. "What?! No. I just, I can't explain why I was so tense. I just was." I nodded but still kept thinking that maybe she likes him and won't admit it.

Ash dropped me off and went on home. "Nessa? That you babe?" I heard a voice say up stairs, "Yes Kev, it's me." He walked down stairs in nothing but his boxers(NessaBSB you're welcome 😏) he hugged me and then asked " How was the mall with Ashley today?" Sighing I said "Good, then it was ugh, I'll tell you later. Right now I just want to take shower." He chuckled and said "Okay, baby girl." I smiled and gave him a quick kiss before heading up the stairs to take a shower.
