Drama Is All Over The Place

Chapter Twenty-Four

Ashley's Pov-
*RING! RING!* My eyes slowly opened up, and I looked around. I was still on the floor from yesterday, I guess I had cried my self to sleep. The phone kept ringing, I slowly got off the floor and answered it. "Hello?" I said. "ASHLEY! OH MY GOD. I'VE BEEN TRYING TO GET A HOLD OF YOU ALL DAY!" It was Nessa, I rubbed my eyes and said "Oh, sorry. All day?" I asked confused. "Ash, its 2 pm." Shit. "I just wanted to be alone, that's all. Especially after yesterday day." I told her. "Kevin told me about it. Well Aj told them." I sighed. I glanced at my hand, which was covered in dried blood, i then looked at my window. It was broken and glass was on the floor.

Once I cleaned my hand and bandaged it up, I decided to take a shower. Stepping in the shower and letting hit my body, lifted all the tension I was feeling. Relaxation is all felt, which was well relaxing. As I was washing my hair, I began to think back to what Howie said yesterday.....'he said that what happened between us, was a mistake. For some reason when he said that, my heart just stopped.' I kept thinking and maybe Nessa was right, maybe I do like Howie.... I shook the thoughts out of my head. 'No. My mind is still a mess.  That's probably why I'm thinking like this.' I mentally said. I finished my shower and shut it off. Grabbing a towel, I stepped out and wrapped it around me.

Not bothering to get dressed, I decided to watch TV. So here I am sitting on my couch, still in my towel. Laying back, I settled on a funny movie, which was Ace Ventura:Pet Detective. Normally if I was sad, or upset a good comedy would cheer me up; and it was helping. My sides were beginning to hurt as I kept laughing. I continued to laugh as I heard my doorbell, pausing the movie I got up to answer the door. Still laughing I opened it to see Nessa. "Hey Nessa." I said, she looked at me funny and said "You seem happy." I let her in and explained to her ; "Oh well I'm still upset about the fight D and I had, but I've been watching a funny movie to cheer me up a bit. She nodded and then said, "That's nice. What movie?" Sitting down I said "Ace Ventura:Pet Detective. Wanna watch it with me?" I could tell she was hesitant to say yes, so I went ahead and said "We will talk later. I just wanna have a good laugh right quick." "Alright. But once the movie ends, we're talking." I nodded and pressed play, and we watched the rest of the movie together.
