Drama Is All Over The Place

Chapter Seventeen

Brian's Pov-
Tomorrow night is our first concert. Needless to say we are all excited about it. Kevin and I were making plans and time arrangements to call Nessa and Leigh, and I wanted to see if Howie would wanna do this, but Kev said to leave him alone. "Kevin?" I said, "Yeah?" He answered; "What's going on with D? He doesn't seem like himself. Maybe it's me, but I seem worried about him." I said with concern, and Kevin could tell I was worried about him. He just sighed and then said "No it's not you, I've noticed it too." Looking at the floor I replied with "I think something happened between him and Ash, but he doesn't wanna tell us. " Kevin nodded his head in agreement saying, "I have no doubt, Aj's been trying to get him to admit that something did happen. But even if it did, it's between D and Ash."

Once we got what we needed done, Kevin suggested we check on the others. Walking towards D and Aj's room; we guessed Nick was with them. We approached their door and I knocked..."COME IN!" a voice yelled back. Opening the door, we saw Nick, Aj and D sitting around watching TV. "What's up?" Aj asked sitting up from his position, I shrugged and said "Kev and I did what we needed to so we thought we'd check on y'all." D groaned and I knew he was annoyed; taking a sip of water, he said in a sarcastic tone, "Just like you sent Nick to check on Aj and I earlier?" Aj and Nick looked at Kevin and I, as Kevin didn't say a word, I just looked around the room. D sighed and said "If you and Kev wanna hang out with us, you can."

The five us sat around D and Aj's room watching TV. Normally we'll goof around, but we weren't; even Nick wasn't trying to mess with us. I'm not saying I don't enjoy the silence, but sometimes noise is good. I stared at my hands before speaking up; "Man, I hate this." They looked at me and at the same time said "Hate what?", "This. The silence." I responded. Not bothering to hear anything else, I stood up and said "I think I'll just go back to my room. Nick I'll leave the door unlocked." With that I walked out the door. Walking down the hall to my room, I knew what was wrong. It's D, he's not right, something is bothering him. And I know it has something to do with Ash, but Kevin said to not bother him about it, if anything did happen.
