She've seen it all. She could be anywhere and everywhere, yet her existence is restricted. She can't remember how she ended up in this situation; however, she knows that whenever she tries to peek from the wall, people would die and that makes her feel sad.Once at a prestigious university, she saw a couple kissing. She appeared and the man noticed first. He couldn't believe what he's seeing. The lady in the wall, not wanting this romantic moment to end, forced the man to continue kissing and held his head. The woman began to feel uncomfortable and tried to dislodge herself from his mouth, but could not move because a hand behind her head is forcing her to continue.
She opened her eyes and realized the horror of the situation. The man and woman murmured something to the extent of "let us go!" The lady in the wall couldn't understand and continued what she was doing. She increased the pressure with a gleeful smile. Two faces were now squished together and that made her feel very sad.
Another instance, she had a crush on an office worker. He used to stay very late at work, trying to finish whatever he had. Peeking from the wall, she admired his toned-body and handsome looks. "He must have a girlfriend. Besides no one this hot could be single," she thought to herself, but wanted to give it a go.
The employee felt something behind him. He turned around nobody was there. She was peering at him from his left and he turned quickly, but nobody was there. Taking a breather, the employee headed to the roof and he thought the overload must've had taken a toll on his mental health.
Resting his back to the wall, the officer worker felt someone's arms wrapped around his body. He was terrified; the lady in the wall was hugging him. She was very honest and wanted to say she liked him. She held him as gently as she can, but that was a mistake. Quickly the employee freed himself and tried to run away. She tried to talk to him, but he wouldn't listen. Trying to take a glimpse at her while running, he fumbled and somehow ended up on the ledge. Extending her hand to prevent him from falling, the lady in the wall tried to help, but he was terrified. The last thing he saw before dying was the lady in the wall trying to reach out to him. She was sad yet again.
By now the lady in the wall loathed her existence; she hated herself for letting people die. What can she do? No one understood her. She continued to live and live and live. "What's the point?" she said to herself. By that time, she was becoming malice. Whenever she appeared she meant to harm because "what's the point of being nice when people end up dead?"
This changed one evening, the lady in the wall was in a baby's room at a home in rural area. Mom and Dad were auguring again and things got violent. She didn't care and in fact, she enjoyed it. "Hit her... HIT HER! ... MORE!" she screamed in her head. The man killed his wife. The lady in the wall was satisfied, but now the man was heading for the baby. The lady in the wall did not know what happened. But she appeared and stopped the man. The man thought otherwise and exchanged blows all while the baby was crying. The lady in the wall was on the floor. The man was staggering towards the baby. She gathered what's left of her strength and flew towards him and off the window into a deep ravine. "I'm hurt," the lady in the wall screamed in her head. She felt happy though. "My legs ... I can feel my legs ... I have a body ... I am a person" those were the last words. Finally, she is forever happy.
