"I will not allow him anywhere near you!" Tasha hissed.

Loki stood behind her, blade to his throat held there by Wanda.

"He's not going to harm her," Wanda whispered.

"What?" Tasha turned to look at her in shock.

"He's-well, he's not going to cause her any harm," Wanda dropped her hands, and the blade fell to the floor.

Loki's grin widened.

I was breathing rapidly, trying my hardest to convince Tasha that Loki wasn't going to hurt me. She'd walked on in in the morning to find Loki trying to keep me asleep, and was livid.

Loki had jumped up, seeing Wanda follow her, and that's all I'm aware of, accept for the fact that I'm standing here in the same attire as last night, panting and almost as livid as Tasha.

Loki stood behind Wanda and Tasha, looking very smug.

"Loki isn't going to hurt me, Natasha. I trust him," I stated, and Loki looked surprised.

Natasha looked equally as surprised, but not in a good way. "You trust him?! How could you trust a monster?!"

I felt tears prick my eyes. "Tasha! He's not a monster!"

But did I really believe that? Was Loki not a monster? He'd definitely done horrid things which would qualify him for the place of monster.

"He's just..he's trying, okay? Please, Tasha, leave us alone!" I cried out, and Tasha jumped at my new tone.

She slowly nodded, and turned on her heels, begrudgingly pulling Wanda with her.

Loki stayed where he was, several feet away from me.

I decided to look at the floor. And as we discussed earlier, Loki knew I was either flustered or embarrassed.

"Are you embarrassed, my love?"

I heard him, but I didn't know how to answer his question. After all, I was standing in front of him in a bra and booty shorts.

"Are you flustered doll?" He attempted a new one.

"Loki, about last night, I'm-I'm not sure what really happened, but I want to apologize," I chose to look up at him. When I did so, he rose his chin up the way he usually does. "And say it won't happen again."

He frowned slightly. "What do you mean by this, kitten?"

I felt heat rise in my cheeks. "I-I mean that I'm leaving."

His eyes widened, and his eyebrows rose. "Why?" His voice came through as a broken whisper.

"I-I don't know," I actually didn't, and I didn't want to leave. People here really did love me and care for me, Steve always made sure I got out of bed in the morning, even if he had to carry me himself. Sam always made sure I ate, even if he had to feed me himself. Bucky always made sure I cared for myself, even if he had to force me. Tasha always protected me, and Wanda always made sure I had a shoulder to cry on. Tony always made sure I went out and had fun, even if he had to drive me to a party himself. And Loki, he always made sure I did rebellious things, and always made life more exciting.

And Peter, Parker, who always made sure I got enough hugs and kisses to fuel my need for them for weeks, and who always made sure I didn't miss the latest hilarious meme or vine, and who I would always trust. He never once let me down, never once hurt me. Even though he was like three years younger than me, that boy had more maturity than me. Or Tony. But that's not hard to accomplish.
