The first realization that hit me when I woke was the beeping sound in the room. The second being fingertips lazily drawing patterns on my leg, and the third was of Wanda's voice.
She was talking softy to me, stuff I didn't recognize.
For a few moments anyway, when I realized it was Sokovian.
All my limbs felt numb, and my hands hurt. That's the sad side affect of having abilities like the ones I posses, after use your hands get sore. So does your head, which right now was aching.
I slowly opened my eyes, seeing Wanda with her own eyes shut and talking to me.
I looked down to see Tasha drawing patterns on my leg and sniffling.
She held one hand over her lovely face, saying things in Russian. So I had one person speaking Sokovian, which I didn't know, and another speaking Russian, which I hardly knew.
So I had no idea what they were saying, that is, until Tasha said in plain English, "I'm so sorry."
I gulped and started to sit up, and Wanda's eyes opened in a flash, locking with mine. I leaned back against the headboard. "Hey Wanda."
Tasha's head snapped up. "Oh my god, you're awake!" She cried, lunging up to me and kissing my forehead, new tears rolling down her cheeks. "I'm so so sorry I said all those awful things to you, and I'm so sorry I was so rude to Loki, I-I won't do it again," she sobbed.
I was a little confused as to why she was so urgent in apologizing.
She turned to the dazed Wanda and said, "Tell them she's awake."
I was now very baffled. I couldn't have been out for more then a couple hours. "Tasha, how long have I been asleep?"
Tasha smiled sadly at me and ran a hand up and down my arm. "N-not long."
I frowned deeply at her. She was lying. She was very talented at doing so, but the snow falling outside told me I'd been out longer then she said, that or we had flown to Alaska. "Tasha, tell me the truth," I demanded.
Tasha swallowed hard and looked away. "Five months."
My breath hitched. Five months? "How is that possible?" I breathed.
Tasha finally looked back up at me. "You hit your head, you exhausted yourself. You put yourself in a coma."
I started breathing harder. "T-Tasha, what's happened in those past months?"
She sat up and started massaging my shoulders. She didn't tell me. I groaned as her fingers worked on my shoulders.
The white hospital door opened and Bucky peaked in. "Hey doll," he whispered, walking in and looking mildy confused at Tasha's activity of choice.
Tasha sighed. "She has kinks."
Bucky's smile became cheeky. "I'd, uh, I'd prefer not to hear about them."
I groaned. "You know what she meant," I whispered.
Bucky was shoved out of the way by Steve, Clint, Tony, Thor, Peter and of course Pietro. He really shoved them out of the way, speeding to the side of the bed. He kissed my forehead and waited for me to say something.
I smiled up at him. "Five months," I breathed again.
He frowned a little. "Yeah, princeza, five months," he said, looking at Bucky, who moved him out of the way.
"Hey doll, are you feeling alright?" Bucky leaned against the bed and smiled at me.
I nodded. "Where's Loki?"
They all exchanged looks. "He's..." Tasha didn't finish. Tension grew in the room.
I sat up straighter. "Where is he?"
Clint looked at the ceiling. "After you went into your coma, and didn't come out..well, he left. We can't find him."
I stared at the wall opposite me. "Bullshit. I'll find him."
Wanda licked her lips and shared a look with Tasha.
Tony walked to the front of the group. "I'm sorry kid. This is my fault."
Bucky stopped him. "It's all our faults. If we hadn't been so protective you never would've missed five months of your life."
I decided to use that to my advantage. "So, since five months of my life were wasted, you guys are going to help me make up for it, right?"
All of them nodded out of guilty conscience.
I nodded approvingly at them. "Start by helping me find Loki."
They all hesitated. "Alright doll," Bucky said to the floor. "We'll help."
