"What is he doing here mom?" I say still looking at Charlie
His face drops.
What? You really think I would be happy after what he's said?
"Holly. Be nice." My mother turns to Charlie and gives him a smile she stands up picking up her Rosè and wallet up in one hand then turns around, I guess leaving so Charlie and I can be alone
"listen-"
"dude," i stop him, "what do you want? cause last time you literally bashed on me."
"I'm sorry and-"
"sorry? now you're saying sorry."
"you said i mustn't talk to you Holly" He steps closer
"I did, after I heard your song."
He gives me a look
"The one. i lied for you something blah blah blah. That you literally wrote of our fight, who does that?!-"
"Holly-May, you left me stranded. Alone in an arena with no where to go. I don't even want to mention the other things that makes me confused but, it was just a bad day, a bad date. I tried to sort things out but you said you wanted space. That song is actually very important to me. Because when i had no one to talk to about this, i figured, that would be the only way you'd listen."
I'm confused.
"Well you left me stranded all alone with your friends. I don't know but last time I checked we were on a date. You don't run off and hang with your friends when you're on a date." I explain
He laughs, "Well you don't run off, making me think you need the toilet but instead. You're kissing other guys."
My heart stop
"what are talking about?-"
"he told me. Justin."

"You know, I thought you guys were over. Clearly you're not." he plain laughs again
"He kissed me." I explain
"Did you stop him though?"
I don't say anything
There was awkward silence, "I really like you Holly-May. But i'm done playing games. Yeah I know i made such a dumb mistakes. But I don't do them often. You do. And when I do you, never talk to me again."
He's right. I feel bad now
"We're not dating Charlie."
"We were on, a date. As you said." He replied
"i'm sorry, it was a mistake."
"Are you?"
"Aren't i saying sorry? Look i think we should save this for another time, I'm going to San Francisco tomorrow. I don't need this right now."
He stares at me.
"Have fun at San Francisco." He says lowly and then walks straight past me, bumping my shoulder.
The first thing that went into my mind.
who is to blame? Justin? Or myself.
I need to talk to Justin.

I couldn't wait any longer, so I decided to drive to Justin's house.
I soon arrive at the huge house hoping he'd be here.
Instead of just walking and barging into his house like I used to, i knock.
It felt weird to knock.
Seconds later i hear noises. walking and running noises. Guess he's here
The door quickly opens to reveal a dressed up to run Justin.
When he sees me he looks at me surprisedly, "Hey Holls, why'd you knock?" he laughed
"We need to talk." i say
he sees how serious i was so he drops the humor, "Okayyyy." he says dragging the word "want to come inside? I have some in & out—"
"Why did you tell Charlie. That we kissed at the arena?"
He freezes
"Why would you do that?" I ask getting a little mad
"He literally came to me asking all this stuff about you. Obviously I had to tell him."
"What stuff? And what do you mean obviously?"
He sighs, "While you guys weren't talking I accidentally saw him at Beverly. He was asking if i have talked to you and if you're okay. I told him you said you wanted space and that we happened to of kissed at that time."
"But why? He didn't need to know Justin."
"I'm sorry, I didn't know you wanted to keep it a secret?" He says putting his arms up in surrender
"I just don't get why you're telling him. You just made my love life worse than it already is."
He furrows his eyebrows, "Love life?"
I roll my eyes
Why am I even telling him this?
"Bye Justin." I say turning around heading to my car
He grabs my wrist, "No stop. You're not actually seeing Charlie, are you?"
I laugh, "You cannot be serious."
"I'm being serious Holly-May. So that's it, we can start seeing other people now?"
"You started seeing other people first. Maybe while we were still dating. So i think you know the answer to your question."
"The reason I told Charlie that was because he told me he wanted to ask you out."
"What?"
"i know right?"
"No! What? Why would you tell him that especially after he's said that."
"Because he deserved to know."
