Holly's POV

"Can you turn the AC up" I say to Justin from the passenger seat of his car.

Justin's car was really hot and the ride to the restaurant is taking longer than I'd like it to. We left the house at around 6pm cause Justin was taking his sweet time, he was trying to convince me that going out for drinks would be much better than pretty little liars, but the only thing I want to do is stay in. I know it's New York. But Justin....

"It's not hot though", Justin says while reaching out to turn on the AC.
"Yeah well you don't ever get hot. You're always wearing sweaters" I say on my phone.

As we speak, I'm reading a text from Charlotte about the basic LA drama. And just how everything's going

"Okay we're here, this place is nice, you'll like it" Justin says, pulling up into the place we're supposed to be eating at.

This place is amazing. It looks like a 5 star hotel but it's really just a super fancy restaurant. Especially since when Justin pulls up, a valet automatically rushes to our assistance and asks to park Justin's car for him.
As Justin exits the car, I reach for the door handle attempting to follow him out.

"No no, hold on" Justin says lightly placing his hand on my thigh. Oh?

I let go of the door handle and watch Justin as he makes his way out and around the car to my side and open the door for me to get out. How cliche.

"Oh how romantic" I say rolling my eyes at him, and he chuckles.

We make our way into the restaurant and are met by a nice gentleman who leads us to our table.
"Can we have a booth" I say. They look way more comfortable.
Justin turns to the waiter and asks, "Would it be okay if we got a booth"

The man nods and leads us to the booth, setting our drink menus on the table and excusing himself.

I look at Justin and he smiles.
"Why the fuck is this place so fancy" I ask him and he chuckles

"You thought staying home would be better than going out.." he says

"Oh no, if this is your way of convincing me that I'm wrong, not going to work. This place is quite nice though."

He rolls his eyes.
"Well I actually brought us here together so we can talk."

I stare at him, "Talk?"

"Yeah," he clears his throat, "I just wanted to tell you-"

"Whatever we have to talk about, can we talk about at the end of the night?" I cut him off
He looks at me, and takes a deep breath, "Oh, yeah of course

Justin and I order our drinks and the night presumes smoothly. At this point I've had two gin and tonics and Justin settled with a glass of gin and tonic also, but his other two ordered were a vodka and lime. I could tell he was getting a bit loose and at ease when he wouldn't stop talking about Esther and showing me the pictures he took of her before we left,

Drunkstin back at it again.

"Esther looks so fed up" I say laughing at the pictures of Justin forcing poor Esther to take selfies with him
He laughs out loud, a few people at the table close to us turn to look and I smile at them till they look away awkwardly.
"She loved it okay" Justin says scrolling through more pictures to show me.
