I started to panic. This is the guy who abused me when I was younger verbally and physical. He even abused my mom too. I didn't know what to do.
"Had a nice run there. Come on smile aren't you glad to see me?" He asked with a smirk plastered on his face. God I wanted to wipe that smirk right off his face so bad, but he is 10 times more strong than me.
"What do you want George?" I asked him.
"Fine if you must know I need the money that you won tonight," he states as if it's that simple.
"No, I bet you owe somebody some money, but guess what? I'm not going to give you any money," I state with slight anger to my voice.
"You are such a spoiled brat! I would give you money and I raised you for 11 years!" He shouted.
"Raised more like abused! If I wouldn't of gotten out of that house I would've been dead!" I shouted back. Dakotah sensed that I was sad and angry so she rested her head on my shoulder and nickered softly.
"That's it you little bitch," he said. He drew his fist back and I kicked him trying to aim for his area but missed and kicked him in the gut. He slapped me and drew his fist back again when I heard a smack. I looked up when I saw Alec and Jake. Alec punched him and jake tied him up.
"Oh my god McKenna are you okay?" Alec asked softly.
"I'm fine," I stated with no emotion. I walked over to magic and petted him softly. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he gave me a hug.
"Are you sure? You took a hard hit there." Jake said.
"Yeah I'm fine," I said once again getting annoyed. I get that they are concerned but I need some space. Jake seemed to sense this.
"Kay then I guess I will go. Alec are you coming?" Jake asked a bit puzzled"
"Nah I'll stay here for a while," Alec said looking at me the whole time.
"Kay man," jake said with a hint of a smile on his face. Once jake left Alec was standing there a bit awkwardly.
"That was your dad wasn't it?" He asked as softly as he could. I barely could hear it. I nodded my head yeah.
"McKenna I am so sorry. I didn't know when I said all that rich stuff," he stuttered. I could tell it was true though.
"I haven't seen him for 2 years," I mumbled. Alec just looked at me and then surprised me by coming up and hugging me.
"McKenna I truly am sorry. You have been through so much by what I can tell. I'm so sorry," he apologized. I hugged him back. Grateful for the shoulder to cry on. Normally I would use magic and Dakotah. My sister is always out and Abby and Ellie don't understand.
"Alec I gotta go. I gotta warm magic up," I whisper. He just nods his head and walks away.
