*****ALECS POINT OF VIEW
When I said that boy toy joke I instantly regretted it. I saw the hurt that flashed through her eyes and the anger. Then all of a sudden I feel a huge pain in my right cheek. "Jeez you hit like a man!" I say in pain.
"Good. Now get out of my damn seat. And if you ever talk to me like that again, or any girl for that matter I will personally make sure you will never be able to move," she threatens hatred in her voice. Ouch. That one hurt. I just move scared that she will punch me again. All I hear after I move is applause. Then I see guys moving up to her asking for her number. I cringe. I can tell she is uncomfortable.
"Hey man," jake says awkwardly.
"Hey," I say back not fully paying attention.
"What the hell happened!" He practically yells.
"I don't know? She told me to get out of her seat and I asked her if one of her boy toys will be beat me up if I don't," I say bluntly mentally cringing finally realizing how big of an ass I was for saying those words. Jake just looks at me.
"You're an ass dude! You basically just called her a slut!" He half whispers half yells.
"I know it's just.. She's weird," I stutter.
"She's weird," jake repeats looking at me strangely. "Wow she must have punched you hard," he says chuckling.
"It's just I never know what to say. I'm scared that I will get her mad or sad. I just want to see her smile and protect her," I say stunned that those words actually came out of my mouth.
"Wow. I knew that you liked her, but I didn't know that you would admit your feelings on a rusty, stinky, and very unsafe bus," he laughs. Surprised I laugh too.
"It doesn't matter now. She hates me," I say.
"She doesn't hate you. She's just mad at you," jake says calmly. I just groan.
"My life can't get any worse," I sigh.
