After meeting everyone and finding out they were our cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. we decided to go visit the boys. Mom came just so she could discuss certain things with them.

I knocked on the door next door just for a man with dark hair and round wide rim glasses to open the door.

"Hello Ren, Are these your daughters? Please come in" he invited us in eagerly.

"Amaya! Over here!" I heard Mako's voice making me groan as I noticed my mother's eyes light up with a mischievous glint that only our family shares.

"Hey Mako" I say a little uncomfortably. "this is my mom. Mom, this is my friend Mako"

"Hello ma'am" he said curtly before turning to me with a look that basically screamed 'isn't she supposed to be dead?!' I nodded.

"So Mako, You're a friend of my daughter?" she said sitting down and fiddling with the hem of her robes.

"Yes ma'am"

"Or do you have more benefits then a friend? like a boyfriend?"

"Uhhhh... erm" Mako fumbled over his words looking at me for help. I nodded making him sigh in relief.

"Miss, I am dating your daughter. I have been for about four months now" he said confidence evident in his voice.

"Very well" she said before leaning over and whispering something in his ear making his eyes bulge at every word. She leans back with a triumphant expression before getting up and looking for Mika and Bolin.

"So... I'm guessing she likes you" I said awkwardly.

"Why isn't she dead Amaya?" I explained everything she told me and he explained everything that happened with his grandmother making me sad that his family didn't even know that his parents were killed.

Mika came up blushing madly with Bolin, wearing the same expression as Mako had, behind her.

"Guys, we have to get back" I said.

"Back where?"

"We're here helping the Avatar find new Airbenders." Mika states.

"Really? Amaya, do you help train them?" My mother asked knowingly.

"I'm a Firebender" I say stupidly, mentally smacking myself once the words left my mouth.

"Yes, but you can still Airbend while Mika can still Earthbend" I hesitated and in a state of shock that our mother, who we hadn't seen since I was 8 and Mika was 6 and knew absolutely nothing about us, knew about our special bending conditions.

"We've got to get going, Korra and Tenzin are probably worried" I say heading towards the door with Mika and the boys following close behind.

"I have the passports that we need" Bolin said holding up four gold books.

"Come on, let's get back to the upper ring"

We finally arrived at the Queen's estate and were currently trying to find everyone else because I'm not going to mention names but a certain Firebending brother got us late.

"It's just over here!" Mako insisted pointing toward the throne room.

"Mako, just admit we're lost" I say softly as I place a hand on his shoulder.

"No! I got this" he said turning back around.

"Would you put away your Firebender ego away and realize that we're lost"

"You're an airbender, you're supposed to be all wise and mediation and stuff" he screamed before looking at Mika and Bolin who were witnessing the entire thing.

"Excuse me children" Two men from the Dai Li said walking up to us.

"Yes?" Bolin asks.

"The Queen requests Ms. Amaya's presence in the throne room" I nodded and followed them away. Instead of the throne room, they were leading me under ground. I stopped abruptly and try to back away slowly but they notice.

They come after me at the same time so I shoot a flume of fire at them at the same time they send a rock hand at me.

Both hands grasp my arms and pull me down to an underground cellar filled with other people and Kai who lays on the floor. Everyone is dressed in simple gray clothes but it seems that I'm the only one dressed in my own attire.

The Dai Li agents shut the door behind me leaving it dark except for the spots of light seeping in through the cracks in the ceiling.

"I don't see why they still have the Dai Li. I mean they don't do anything productive except kidnapping people! like what the bones?!" I rant plopping down against the wall.

At this moment, I wish I had gotten Waterbending instead of Airbending, but it would've been Mika so I'm glad it's me instead of her.
