Chapter 24: Wait, What!

We all turn to the closed door wondering who could possibly be on the other side. I turned to see Ghazan and Baldy holding Mako and Bolin by their collars as they struggled to get away.

Boom. In an instant, the small wooden door that led to the rest of Ba Sing Se was on the ground with Tenzin, Beifong, Asami, Jinora and Suyin standing there.

"Amaya!" Jinora exclaims about to run over. I notice Baldy smirk and lunge toward her but Jinora didn't notice. I blew a gust of wind at her blowing her back into Su who took her outside.

"Just let them go Zaheer" Tenzin said sternly.

"Considering the fact that I pretty much have 2 avatars under my control, I don't think I have to adhere to your recommendation" he smirks as Ming Hua comes out of another room and throws Mika towards me.

"Korra isn't even here" Tenzin muttered making Zaheer's smirk grow as he walks over to a small door and opens it revealing Korra, gagged and tied up.

"Korra! No!" Mika says.

"They are still their own person. They can fight back" Beifong says.

"Not when Ming Hua steps into the picture" Just as the words leave his mouth, I feel like I'm cramping all over my body, as if all of my sensory and nerves are frozen. I try to scream but it comes out more like a struggled groan.

I feel like I'm being lifted up off the ground. I open my eyes to see Mika and Korra in a similar situation as Water Lady stands there with her arms up.

"Now, if you want them safe, I'd quit the Peacekeeper act" Zaheer says as Korra groans loudly.

"Let them go this instant"

All I hear, is numerous different screams until nothing. Nothing but silence. I feel a tear run down my cheek at the thought of what could have happened. I felt myself moving again but this time I just shut my eyes and tried to empty my mind of the terrible thoughts and the pain.

"Come on boys, this way" I see Ghazan escort Mako and Bolin to the cell next to Mika and Mine.

The red lotus had brought us to the Upper Ring. We didn't know why until they gave Mika and I to the Queen as prisoners even though she knew I was an Airbender. She was just mad because we had taken her precious Airbender army.

"Long time no see boys" I say as I form small flames in my hand for the heck of it.

"We should really catch up sometime" I hear Mako say back.

"What did they do with Korra?" Mika asked.

"She escaped and made a run for it but was captured again, along with Asami, and now she's on a ship back here" Bolin said.

"I bet she's happy" I mutter making a flame.

"Tell me about it" Mako mumbled.

"Bolin, what is it with Firebenders? They're either egotistical, sneaky, conniving, stubborn or depressed all the time?" Mika says.

"I know! They should just get together because back then they weren't so moody" Bolin said as if we weren't sitting right there. After a while of their ongoing conversation about how annoying Firebenders are I finally stepped in. "Excuse me, you guys do know we're right here. Right?"

"Yea so?" Mika and Bolin say in unison before we see the Guards come down and glare at us.

"Shut up" he says shortly. I look right as him and roll my eyes obnoxiously making his glare at me. "Young lady, if you don't stop I will be forced to isolate you"

I laughed and turned around just to hear the gate open. I whipped around and shot flames at him once Mika send several rocks flying at him. I blew him to the floor and held him off as Mika searched for the keys. After a while, I decided to go old school and punched the guard unconscious before turning and facing the gates.

"Hopefully this works" I muttered before trying to metal bend and it opened all of the gates except Mako and Bolin's.

"Hehe?" I said scratching my neck awkwardly.

"Amaya! Watch out!" I heard Mika scream but it was too late I was tackled to the ground and held down.

"Crap. Why can't I be normal?" I groan as my vision blurs before going pitch black. The last thing I hear before I pass out is the voice of the person I've always hated more than anyone.
