Chapter 19: This isnt good

*Mako's POV*

I get up to see Mika lying safely in Bolin's arms so I walk out to see Asami with a worried expression that makes it look like she's having a mental argument with herself.

"What's wrong Asami?" I say making her head snap up and go blank as she sees me.

"Su wants to see you. When she said everyone would be questioned, she meant it" she said "Bring Bolin too"

I stood there dumbfounded. Why would they expect us to be behind this? We wouldn't purposely kidnap our two of our best friends. We can just walk out and and drag them somewhere.

I go get Bolin who carries Mika and leaves her with Asami, who was back to arguing with herself.

"State your full name" I rolled my eyes.

"Mako" I say.

"Full name"

"That's all I'm saying and you're going to have to deal with it" I say stubbornly. Aiwei sighs before continuing.

"How long have you been in Zaofu?"

"About four weeks now"

"Do you have any knowledge on the people who kidnapped Avatar Korra last night?"

"No, Why would I kidnap my best friend!" I say.

"He's telling the truth" he says turning to the Beifongs.

"You may go" I nod before running back to Asami and Mika. I see them talking on her bed with huge smiles. Asami says something before Mika tackles her in a hug. I chuckle and knock, leaning on the door frame.

"Whatcha talking about?"

"Oh, nothing" Asami waves me off as Mika giggles.

"Come on, tell me" I beg. Asami sighs and nods at Mika who squeals.

"Asami discovered something this morning" she beamed as Asami facepalmed. "Asami's an Airbender"

My eyes widened. "An Airbender?" Asami nods. Mika hugs her tightly and soon after I join in on the group hug.

"Well, Mika. Since I have been tasked with securing your safety. Would you like to take a walk and maybe show me some metalbending?" I say with a salute.

"Are you asking me out Mako?" she smirks "Because you'll have to deal with Bolin"

"Eh, I can take my brother"

As we're walking, Mika kept mumbling things and making her cables form shapes and lines. I chuckled as she grabbed one of Su's sons Sculptures and threw it.

"It looks better now" she chuckles even though you can clearly see the worried expression underneath.

"Mika, are you okay?"

"I'm fine Mako"

"I can tell you're not"

"Then why ask" she says. "I can see why my sister likes you" I smile as she says that.

"Don't worry, she'll come around" she pats me on the shoulder before spinning me around with her cables and skipping inside.

*Amaya's POV*

"So, Fire Dude, Do you have a family or anything?" I ask as I sit in the cave with my hands tied in front of me and Fire Dude, Ghazan, sat next to me.

"I have a little sister but ever since she heard I was part of the Red Lotus, she didn't want anything to do with me" he smiled but it faded by the end of the sentence.

"Awww, Come on, Bring it in" I said with a smile as he leaned in for a hug.

"Ghazan! We're back" I heard a feminine voice yell.

"P'Li, would you stop screaming?" he groans.

"Well, You're going to be stuck with double babysitting. We're off to run a few errands. Did you hear, the nonbender girl is now an Airbender? Those two idiots are supposed to be protecting the girl but now for long" she smirked as she walked in with an unconscious Korra and left her leaning on the wall. After a while, she woke up and started struggling against her restraints.

Once she leaves, Ghazan turns to me. "They're talking about your sister"

"I know"

"Those two brothers don't stand a chance against them. You need to help" he said as he burned the ropes and pointed to Zaofu which looked to be a five minute run away.

"But, I thought you wanted a three of us" I said.

"Eh, I'll tell them you two blew me into a wall and knocked me out. Just go" he smiled. We nodded and ran over to the metal city.

I finally saw Mako, Bolin and Mika standing right outside the door as a the Beifong sisters were in the middle of a bending fight.

"Guys!" I call as Korra and I run up to them.

"Amaya! Korra!" We engulf them in hugs but Korr turns to the Beifongs.

"Should I stop them?" she says. We chuckle.

"Korra, you don't have any siblings. Fighting's all part of the healing process" we all say in unison. She scowls but stays.

We watch as Lin and Su throw rocks and cables and Metal at each other with the spectators choosing sides. I felt like taking bets. For a small charge of course.

Opal runs up just as they are both about to throw something at each other and blows the two large objects away.

"What are you doing? You're sisters! Why would you want to hurt each other?!" she says as the two stare at each other out of breath.

"Amaya and Korra are back!" Asami yells trying to change the subject.

"Girls! We were so worried" Su smiled.

"We are leaving first thing tomorrow. We're going back to Republic City where I know the streets and can keep you three safe more efficiently" Lins and strictly before walking inside.

I turn to the brothers. "Are you two still in charge of protection of the Sneaky Sisters?" I smirk. They both puff their chests out and salute.

"Good" Mika says before dragging me into our room and discussing what I had missed in the past five days.

Woo! Three Updates in two days!

Now, I might be able to update tomorrow I'm not sure. Please excuse any grammar issues because I literally wrote this in about five minutes. I'll edit the entire story when it's done.
