19. Lies Told at Home.

I told you I wanted to go home.
Well I meant I wanted to go into your arms.
You quickly added and intervened.
"I am your home,
My arms would always find you."
And in my mind,
I nearly cried.
I felt the love inside me.
You told me I was your place to lie.
You'd love to devour me nicely.
You said that I owned your heart,
And not to lose its value.
I owned a part of you,
You owned everything inside me.

I knew that I had found the one.
My home was arms and manly cologne.
Wrapped nice and really tightly,
Around my waist,
With lips to taste,
And a mind that saw me genuinely.
All I could put into words was that,
I had finally found my lifeline.
And I was done being lost,
No more, not likely.

I'll follow your voice and it'll lead me to home.
Where you'll be,
And you'll wrap your arms around me...

You are my home or so it seems.

You were a wolf in sheep's clothing,

Promising me a home,

When I was just your last meal.

I was never your lifeline.
