Let's Steal Her! - JIMIN

You and your boyfriend Jimin are visiting a friend of both of you and she had just bought a new pup. You already knew Jimin would only play with her and ignore everyone else. His love for pets is greater than his love for you. At least that's how you see it. You do love watching him play with pets because he's as soft as ever when he's around them. The whole time you're talking to your friend, you're watching Jimin play with the puppy. It's almost hard to listen to your friend but you try your best.

"Jagiya! Let's steal her!" Jimin yells out to you. Your friend looks at you and laughs.

"Jimin, you know saying things like that in front of the owner is wrong. You're supposed to tell me later when she's not around." You explain to him and laugh with your friend.

"He sure does love her. I've never seen him like this before." Your friend watches Jimin with a smile on her face.

"He's a huge pet lover. Sometimes I wonder if that's how he'd be with our child." You begin thinking about it.

"I'm sure he'd be more than that. He'd probably be that overprotective parent." She says, making you think the same. It would be very true because sometimes he's even overprotective over you.

"You're probably right and that makes me the fun parent that our child will love the most." You grin as your praise yourself.

You and Jimin say goodbye to your friend and her pup. It was hard for Jimin to let go of her but he eventually did. While you're in the car you two are talking about getting a pet. You keep rejecting him but he's very persistent.

"I'd rather have a baby than a pet." You let the words slip out and wish you can inhale them back in. You can see Jimin looking at you in the corner of your eye. You try your best to focus on the road ahead of you.

"You want to have kids already?" He asks. At that moment you wish you could disappear. You've never really given it much thought. You just knew you've always wanted kids and Jimin would be a perfect father.

"I mean, I don't know. I don't think we're ready yet but eventually I would want to have kids with you." You explain and realize you've never said this to Jimin. You've never once mentioned to him that you wanted kids much less want to have his.

"I think that sounds great. I would love to have kids with you. I've actually thought about it a lot but I didn't want to scare you." He says, leaving you shocked. You turn to look at him and he's completely sincere.

"Jimin, that's so sweet!" You put your free hand in his. You can't believe Jimin has thought about it a lot more than you have. He's more into this relationship than you are and you feel like you need to step it up.

"Even if you don't think we're ready, I'm glad we talked about this. Soon I won't have to imagine our family because it'll be reality." He gives your hand a squeeze. You want to hug and kiss him but you can't because you're driving.

"Jimin! You're the cutest boyfriend ever, you know that? I love you so much." You say before you bring your hand up to your lips and kiss it.

"I love you too. So about that pet..." Jimin says, taking advantage of the fact that you're in a good mood.

"Nope." You shut him down instantly.

The next day while Jimin's at work, you think about getting a pet. You know you're going to be the one cleaning up after and feeding it, which is why you kept saying no at first but it would make both you and Jimin really happy. Maybe it'd even help with your parenting skills somehow. So you go out and buy the cutest puppy you see. When you hear Jimin unlocking the door you run to hide the puppy in your room. Then you run back to Jimin and tell him to sit down on the sofa and close his eyes as he holds his hands out. He does as he's told and you run into the room. You place the puppy in his hand and his face immediately brightens up. He opens his eyes and yells how happy he is.

"I love you so much!!" He gently presses his nose under the puppy's chin and then looks at you. "I love you too, jagi!" He sings. You laugh and sit next to him. You watch him adore this puppy and your love for him somehow grows.

"Even though I know I'll be doing most of the work for this pup, it's definitely worth it to see you this happy." You smile as you brush his hair back.

"You alone make me this happy, jagiya! You didn't have to buy me a puppy to see me like this but it did work." He laughs as he throws his head back. "Thank you. I love you so much." He says before he gives you a kiss. He pulls away, giggling and you see the puppy licking his face.

"Looks like I'm going to have to share you now." You smile while petting the puppy.
