Get Along - RM & JUNGKOOK

You and your boyfriend's best friend argue all the time but your boyfriend just wants you two to get along.

"They have so much in common, why can't they just get along?" Namjoon asks Yoongi. The two are in Yoongi's room. Namjoon had gone to him for advice on the situation but Yoongi visibly looks as if he could care less. Still Namjoon tries to get help because he's the only person other than Jungkook in the house at the time.

"Maybe they secretly love each other." Yoongi  chuckles as he continues scrolling through his phone.

"What?!" Namjoon nearly jumps out of his body.

"I was kidding, calm down." Yoongi casually says as he watches Namjoon's eyeballs practically pop out of his eye sockets.

"No wait, that makes so much fucking sense. They both have their childish moments and only kids act like that when they're into someone." Namjoon's eyebrows furrow while he tries to unsolve this problem as if he's a mad scientist. Yoongi would agree on the fact that Namjoon is mad.

"Namjoon, you're over thinking this. I don't know your girlfriend very well but I'm pretty sure she wouldn't be interested in someone else while she's in a relationship and Jungkook is your best friend, he looks up to you, out of all his friends, he likes you the most." Yoongi explains, trying to help Namjoon understand the problem. He's had it figured out for a long time but he thought it'd be best if he didn't get involved.

"You're right... But it's just that-"

"I am done with this conversation." Yoongi cuts him off, completely bothered by the fact that Namjoon isn't understanding anything. Namjoon sighs and stays in his thoughts for a bit.

You're his girlfriend of six months and Jungkook is his best friend. He's known Jungkook for nearly half his life. He's taken care of him as if he was his biological brother. He knew Jungkook really well and he knew he wouldn't do anything like that. He knows you'd get offended if he straight up asked you but he just needed to know. Suddenly his thoughts are disrupted by yelling coming from, of course, you and Jungkook. Yoongi's always amused by the stupid arguments you and Jungkook have but at that moment he's not having it. He grunts and tells Namjoon to take care of it. Namjoon apologizes on behalf of you and Jungkook and gets up to see what's happening.

"Namjoon, Jungkook called me an idiot! I promise you all I did was stand there. I didn't say one single word before he started with me." You defend yourself as you hold onto your boyfriend.

"Jungkook, why'd you call her that?" Namjoon asks, wanting to get to the bottom of this stupid problem.

"It's not like I'm telling a lie." Jungkook leans against the sofa as he crosses his arms in front of his chest. You squeeze Namjoon and look up at him, waiting for him to do something. Namjoon pulls away from you and gives you a look, that tells you he'll take care of it. He drags Jungkook to his bedroom.

"Jungkook I need you to be honest with me right now. Do you have a crush on my girlfriend?" Namjoon asks, desperately needing to know the answer.

"Ew, no. She's an idiot, why would I?" Jungkook scoffs.

"You are testing my patience, you brat. Stop calling her names. Why do you insist on bothering her so much?" Namjoon continues his interrogation.

"It's fun to mess with her. She gets annoyed easily." Jungkook grins which gets on Namjoon's nerves.

"She's my girlfriend and I want you to leave her alone." Namjoon demands but from the look of Jungkook's nonchalant body language, he's not stopping.

"What am I going to do with you? Do you want me to move out? Stop being around as often just so you two could stop fighting?" Namjoon threatens.

"What's the difference? You're not around now anyways." Jungkook looks down at the ground so Namjoon doesn't read him. Namjoon stays quiet as he begins to realize what's really going on.

"Wait, you miss me? That's why you're acting like such a jerk?" He questions.

"Shut up. I'm leaving." Jungkook turns around but Namjoon calls his name causing him to turn back around.

"Jungkook, I try to spend my time with you guys as equally as I do with her." He explains.

"Hyung, I miss when it was just us two. Now it's either you and her or you and all of us. It's never just me and you." Namjoon has never heard Jungkook sound so hurt. Now he understands why Yoongi said all those things.

"You should have told me this before hurting her. It's not fair that she gets the blame when it's my fault to begin with." Namjoon declares.

"She's the reason we don't hang out." Jungkook remarks.

"I decided to date her, I decided to choose her over you and I hate saying it like that but it's true and I'm not going to sugar coat it. I'm really sorry, Jungkook. I promise we can hang out more often but you have to apologize to her and promise me you'll hang out with us." He demands.

"Hang out with you and her? Does she really have to be there?" Jungkook whines.

"Jungkook." Namjoon scowls at him.

"Fine, I promise." Jungkook gives in. Namjoon walks up to Jungkook and gives him a hug.
