Hold My Hand pt 2 - WONHO

Your doorbell rings, startling you from the night you had with Jooheon. It was a very bittersweet night. You open the door to see your boyfriend, Wonho, standing there with the biggest smile on his face, dressed up in an expensive looking suit. He makes a lot of money so you didn't expect anything less, which also means you shouldn't expect anything small for your third anniversary.

"Happy third anniversary, jagiya!" Wonho says excitedly. It truly hurt your heart to see him so happy. Just because you've been trying to break up with him doesn't mean you hate him or he's done anything for you to want to end things with him. You genuinely gained such strong feelings for Jooheon that they overpowered your love for Wonho. You wonder whether you tell him now or after dinner.

"Hey, Wonho, you too." You force a smile. He gives you a kiss and smiles widely and that's when you decide that he should at least get one last date with you, as if that makes up for falling out of love.

As expected, he takes you to a very luxorious restaurant. The entire time you two are talking and you're trying your best to hide how nervous you are. To help you with letting loose you order the strongest wine they have. You ask him about his job because he usually has a lot to tell you and if he's talking the whole time, he won't focus much on you and you can focus on keeping cool.

"What about you? I didn't hear from you yesterday, I was quite worried but I didn't want to bother you." Your plan had failed but you had already prepared a backup plan.

"I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you I went to a party with my friend and my phone died and by the time I got home I passed out."

"Well, I'm glad you're okay. Did you have fun?"

"Yeah, it was great. I just wish it didn't end, you know?" You say before gulping down your wine.

"Yeah, of course. You just want it to last forever." Wonho says and then observes you for a bit as you pick at your food.

"Speaking of lasting forever.." Wonho gets up and gets down on one knee. You can feel yourself wanting to scream but you hold it in.

"I love you so much and we've been together for three years now and I think we should keep going forever. Will you marry me?" He says with a hopeful smile. You cover your mouth as you sit there in complete shock. You look at all the people watching you two and you become even more nervous. You slowly nod your head.

"Yes." You say so quietly that it almost sounds like a whisper but he still hears you. You and him both get up and embrace one another. He gives you a kiss and pulls you back into a hug. You start crying and as the tears roll down your cheeks you begin to wonder what they're for.

The ride home starts out silent. You look over at Wonho and he's happier than ever as he holds your hand. He glances at you and you give him a smile. He brings your hand up to his lips and gives it a kiss.

"Do you want to go to my place or yours?" He asks you a question that seems more difficult to answer than the question he asked you earlier. You can't say you don't want to be with him because it'll make him suspicious and there's no way you can make an excuse to not be with him.

"My place. Are you working tomorrow? I don't want you to have to leave my place so early, to go home and get ready for work." You thought maybe this could stop him from going to your place.

"I took the day off, knowing my baby would say yes and because we won't be sleeping tonight, right?" He winks at you. You giggle and hum yes. You drank a lot after you said yes and your excuse was that you're celebrating. You actually finished half the bottle yourself.

You two arrive at your apartment and he carries you inside as if you two have just gotten married.

"Wonho, we haven't gotten married yet." You chuckle as he sets you down.
