Dreams are Just Dreams - WONWOO & S. COUPS

You're talking to a few of your boyfriend's friends while he's getting his hair and makeup done for his final shoot. You've been dating Wonwoo for a couple years now and it was hard to see him when he's in a popular kpop group like Seventeen. They have a photoshoot today and since it was your day off, Wonwoo told you he wanted to be with you as much as he could. You thought it was odd at first but you didn't mind because you love being with him.

He's been acting weird all day though. He'd keep watching your every move and you even got the feeling that he was angry but you didn't do anything wrong. You got sick of all the looks so you decide to talk to him about it when he got done with his hair and makeup.

"What's wrong, Wonwoo?" You ask.

"Nothing, why?" He says sternly.

"Are you sure about that? You've been staring at me all day and just acting differently."

"What, I can't stare at my girlfriend?" He remarks.

"What's with the attitude? Honestly Wonwoo, just tell me what's wrong. Did I do something to make you mad? If I did then tell me so I can apologize." You try to get him to tell the truth.

"It's nothing. I just didn't get enough sleep. I'm sorry." He puts his arm around you and kisses your forehead.

"Aw, baby you should have woken me up so I could help you sleep." You hug him tightly.

"I didn't want to ruin your sleep. It sounded like you were having a good time." He trails off towards the end as he looks away.

"What?" You look at him with a raised eyebrow.

"You guys wanna join us for dinner afterwards?" Seungcheol asks you and Wonwoo. You look at Wonwoo and wait for him to answer.

"It's up to you, babe." He tells you.

"Sure, we'd love to." You smile at Seungcheol.

"That's great! I wanted to talk to you about something." He smiles back at you.

"Oh yeah, that!" You felt Wonwoo squeezing your shoulder tightly.

"Ow, Wonwoo!" You push his hand off your shoulder.

"Are you okay?" Seungcheol asks you and puts his hand on your shoulder.

"Yeah." You answer while still glaring at Wonwoo. Seungcheol removes his hand.

"What's wrong with you, Wonwoo? Don't tell me it's because you didn't get enough sleep because that's bullshit." You state the obvious.

"It's him!" He pointed at Seungcheol. "You moaned his name in your sleep!"

"What?!" Both you and Seungcheol said in sync.

"Okay but... Never mind. I'm leaving. I'll see you at home." You say as you walk away.

"Wait!" Wonwoo calls after you and you ignore him. You hear his name being called to get his photos taken so you knew he wouldn't follow after you. While you're waiting for the bus to arrive someone taps your shoulder.

"I just wanted to apologize." Seungcheol says. You really didn't want to see him but you also didn't want to be rude to him because he had nothing to do with your embarrassment.

"For what? You're not the one who embarrassed me." You say while checking if a bus is on its way.

"I know but I just feel bad. Wonwoo shouldn't have done that. He should have talked about it with you in private instead of explode the way he did in front of everyone. You didn't deserve that." He comforts you.

"Thank you so much, Seungcheol." You give him a hug and he rests a hand on your head and the other around your waist.

It's late at night and you've been waiting for Wonwoo to come home but he hasn't. You were fine when he wasn't home at midnight but now it's three in the morning and you're getting worried. You didn't text him that much but when you started worrying you asked him where he was. All he did was read it. Every text you sent after was read. You sent a few more and after twenty minutes he stopped reading. You didn't know what else to do but to call Seungcheol.

"I'm sorry I'm calling so late but Wonwoo hasn't come home yet and I was wondering if he's with you guys."

"No, he's not. He said he was going to your place when he finished with his shoot." You felt yourself start to cry.

"I just don't know what to do. I keep texting him and he stopped reading them and I'm terrified. I don't want to find out he got beat up or even..." You didn't finish that sentence, fear that it was a realistic possibility.

"Don't worry, sweetie. I'll look for him. Promise me you'll stop thinking like that though."

"I'll try. Thank you so much Seungcheol."

An hour later there's a knock at the door. You run to open it and see Seungcheol and Wonwoo.

"Thank you so much Seungcheol!" You give him a hug.

"You're welcome. He's really drunk and he kept trying to fight me so I think I should stay for a while just in case he tries to hit you." Seungcheol states. Wonwoo looks at him and pushes him so hard that he falls on the floor.

"I would never hit her!" Wonwoo yells. Seungcheol gets up from the floor and scowls at Wonwoo.

"Thank you Seungcheol but I'll handle this." You tell him as you drag Wonwoo inside.

"Are you sure?" He asks you. You nod your head and he tells you to call him if you need anything.

"Why didn't you come home, Wonwoo? I was really worried about you?" You ask him as soon as you two sit on the sofa.

"Why are you cheating on me with Seungcheol?" He asks you as he's sitting on the opposite end of the sofa that you're sitting on.

"What are you talking about? That was just a dream and nothing more. I would never cheat on you." You don't understand how he couldn't believe you.

"I saw you...I saw you and him hugging after you left." He starts crying. He was always extremely sensitive when he got drunk.

"What? That was just a hug. Nothing else and when he said he wanted to talk, I was going to help him out with someone he's interested in. There's absolutely nothing but friendship between us. I told you I would never cheat on you and I never will. I love you and only you, Wonwoo. Why can't you believe me?" You look into his eyes and he does the same. He moves closer to you.

"I'm sorry I'm such a dumbass. I love you so fucking much, I'm just so scared I'll lose you." He holds you tightly and continues to cry in your arms.

"If this is the last time you do this then you'll never lose me." You give him a soft kiss.
