He Can't Be Replaced - YOONGI

You just recieved bad news from your parents and you immediately start crying. You spend all day crying about it until your roommate, Yoongi, gets home. You stay in your room as you hear him walk around the apartment. You decide to take a shower so you can hopefully stop crying. Your plan works because when you turn off the water, the tears stop. You walk pass Yoongi's room and you see him still awake, looking at his phone. You knock on the door and smile when he smiles at you and waves you in.

"How was work today?" You ask him as you sit on his bed.

"The same bullshit, although it was nice because they gave us free food." He says as he puts his phone on the nightstand.

"Thats awesome. Free food is always the best food." You respond with a smile on your face.

"Definitely. How was your day?" He asks. He notices your mood change.

"My day? My day was... It was a day." You say as you turn to the side, facing away from him.

"What does that mean?" He watches you bring your hand to your face as you begin to cry. He sits up and puts a hand on your shoulder.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He asks softly. You start crying even harder. He gets off the bed and crouches down in front of you so he can look at you.

"My dog died today." You manage to say.

"Aw sweetie." He frowns and sits beside you while wrapping his arms around you. He pulls you closer to him and rests his chin above your head.

"I know it's stupid to cry because this happens to all dogs but this was my first dog, I had him since I was a kid. I knew this was gonna happen eventually but..."

"It's not stupid to cry. Your dog was your best friend, I understand completely. You loved him so much, of course you're going to cry. Go ahead and cry as much as you want." He says as he rubs your back.

Yoongi was always there for you no matter what, no matter how stupid your problems were, he was always there. You couldn't ask for a better friend. You felt like him being older than you caused him to care for you more than he would anyone else because you've seen how he was with his other friends, boys and girls, he was somewhat caring but with you he was more than just that. Maybe you acted like a baby so often that he felt the need to be like a parent for you.

"Yoongi, why do you always take care of me?" You ask once you calmed down.

"What do you mean?" He says, completely confused.

"You're always extra caring when it comes to me." You explain.

"Why else do you think? You're like a little sister to me. I've never had a sister but you feel like one to me and you better take advantage of that because I'm not like this with everyone." He chuckles lightly. You smile as much as you can for someone who's sad.

"I'll try my best. Thank you for this and everything. I'm gonna miss my dog so much though. I've never had a sibling and he was basically my only brother. He was always there for me, he was the only one there for me a lot of the time. I told him everything and he'd always listen to me, not like he had a choice but he wouldn't walk away so that says something." You and Yoongi quietly laugh.

"I can't replace your dog but you can come to me for anything and everything and I will for sure listen, not just pretend or fall asleep." You two smile. You rest your head on his shoulder and wrap your arms around his waist.

"Thank you, Yoongi." You say softly. He gives you a hug and fluffs your hair.
