Please Pet Me - JHOPE

You're at your best friend, Jimin's house hanging out with his friends. Jimin knew you had a crush on his friend, Hoseok so the whole night he tells you what to do to get his attention. When nothing works you sigh as you sit at the table.

"I give up, Jiminie. He's never going to notice me." You whine to your best friend.

"Ah, don't be like that noona." He looks at Hoseok who's sitting on the sofa. He wonders if he's sleepy now and by the looks of it he probably is.

"I have an idea. Hobi hyung loves people playing with his hair. He's probably feeling sleepy right now so if you casually brush your hands through his hair, he'll get really close to you." Jimin advises. You raise an eyebrow at him.

"Really? That sounds weird." You say as you look at Hoseok.

"Weird? Are you sure you like Hobi? He's as weird as they come." Jimin states. He knows Hoseok better than anyone so you knew he wasn't lying.

"Okay, okay." You walk towards Hoseok and stand behind the sofa.

"Hey, Hobi. How's the show?" You ask while slowly creeping your hand into his hair and gently petting him. He looks at you, gives you a smile and looks back at the TV.

"It's really funny but I'm starting to feel sleepy." He pouts.

"Just finish this episode. I promise it's worth it." You had told him earlier about a really good show because Jimin thought it would get you guys closer but he was way too into the show to even talk to you. So you're actually shocked that he's talking to you now.

"What if it's another cliff hanger like the previous one?" He whines. You can tell he's really sleepy now.

"Well you can't stop watching in the middle of the show." You giggle.

"I know, I know." He says resting his head back. Jimin calls you and you look back at him. He waves his hand for you to go to him. You're about to walk towards Jimin but Hoseok holds onto your hand.

"Where are you going?" He tugs on your arm and you look back at Jimin. He sends you a wink and smiles.

"I was going to see what Jimin wants." You reply.

"Forget him. Please continue playing with my hair. It feels so nice when you do it." Hoseok pouts and gives you puppy dog eyes. You look at Jimin again and he walks into his room.

You sit down next to Hobi and he rests his head on your lap. He grabs your hand and puts it on his head. You chuckle and massage his head. Soon enough he falls asleep. You let him rest for a while but then you start feeling sleepy so you nudge him and quietly tell him to wake up.

"I don't want to." He whines. His eyes are still closed.

"But I'm sleepy, Hoseok." You say in a whiny tone as well. He sits up and then grabs you and lies you down with him. He puts his hand around your waist to pull you closer to him.

"Goodnight." He whispers in your ear right before falling asleep. You smile and close your eyes, embracing this comfortable position and finally letting sleep consume you.
