- Johns Pov -

After spending the evening and let me say it was quite the satisfying evening with Brooke, I was more than ready to face Brendon.  I couldn't wait till everyone knew the truth of his wicked ways, knowing that Dustin had a daughter around the same age as mine. I'm sure he'd love to hear the news of how his new beloved employee loved under age girls. Brooke had promised to help me some, she said that she wouldn't directly hurt Brendon but she'd make sure that he was going to suffer for what he had done. Before she left me to go back home to him she had promised me that she already had a plan in mind that she knew would work in order to officially break his heart and be sure he stayed with her forever, I had no idea of what she was planning but I had put my full trust into her.

Walking into the office the next morning Cara was sipping on her coffee as she filtered through her emails, she gave me a curt nod before phoning someone. "Mr. Carlile, glad to see that you can keep an appointment after all!" Dustin said as he walked out of his office, he was around the same age as me with salt and pepper hair. He walked over giving me a firm handshake, before gesturing behind me. "Mr. Carlile, I believe you've already met Brendon Laurence." Deep breaths, John. Keep your cool, remember you're here to get to him, not him get to you. "Ah! Yes, and please call me, John." Dustin had motioned for us to fallow him into his office, ignoring Brendon the best I could. We had talked for a good hour and a half about all their big accounts and planning on how we can convince our smaller accounts to join the new plans we have, anytime Brendon would say something I just glanced down at all the files and changed the topic. Just as we were fixing to wrap up our meeting a loud shrill sounded off, Brendon quickly excused himself stating that it was one of the accounts we had just been discussing. "John... I hate to pry but I couldn't help but notice the hostility that you seem to put off towards him." Dustin said leaning across his desk giving me a concerned look, I glanced to the picture of his family on his desk. "Yes, I'm not his biggest fan as you can tell..... Is that your family?" He glanced over to his picture and smiled. "Yes it is." Nodding I pulled out my phone and pulled a picture of my once happy family. "Your daughter seems to be the same age as mine." I said showing him, he nodded then looked back at me confused. "You see, Dustin... Brendon met my daughter at a work event, I eventually had her hired into the mailroom. About a month later I am watching my security cameras to find that Brendon was sneaking around with my underage daughter.... I'm sure as a father, you can understand how I'm feeling towards him at the moment." He sat back in his chair giving me a hard look, glancing back to the closed door I was fixing to set another plan in motion.   "From one father to another, that man is nothing but sick in the head. He pries on young girls, he manipulates them to get what he wants. I lost my family because he brainwashed my daughter into thinking he was in love with her, they turned their backs on me because I sent him away from her."  Dustin had a poker face giving me no clue as to what he's thinking, once in a while he'd glance down to my phone with the picture and then to his family photo. Planting the seed into his mind hoping that he'd wash his hands of Brendon for good, all I wanted was to watch him lose everything.

After the meeting with Dustin he showed me to my new office then he introduced me to the staff, I could definitely already tell who would be the office gossips.  This should be easy and effective, right now I need to focus on getting some work done. If I start any drama and I have yet to accomplished anything, it could all backfire on me. So first thing first, getting to know my employees and accounts. Second, tell the office gossip and watch them do my dirty work while I manage to keep my head down low and staying busy with an account. "Mr. Carlile, Brendon said that he needs your attention focused on this file, as it's time sensitive." Glancing up from my laptop I see my first bug, he was definitely one I spotted in the break room with a few others. "Did he, now?" He looked around before swiping back his black hair, the dude needed a haircut if he wants to make it in this industry. "Uh... yeah?" His lack of respective response quickly got on my nerves. "Very well then, I guess he isn't man enough to come and tell me himself." I scoffed and gave him a smug smile, it took him a moment to catch the insult but I could see the curiosity brewing in his brown eyes. "I... uh... I generally think he's busy with another thing." Rolling my eyes shaking my head, this is perfect now to throw out the bait. "As one in command, you never just hand a newcomer a time sensitive file and not discuss it with them, it doesn't matter if they are qualified to do the job. One must always makes sure that his team knows all the information, Brendon on the other hand is just to scared to face me after he hooked up with my under age daughter." Bait dropped, fish nibbling, now to reel him in. "Brendon slept with your under age daughter?! I thought he was engaged?!" Gotcha! "I'm not even supposed to be telling you this, but yes. Which is why he was transferred over here, unfortunately this office is now next on my list that I'll be taking over." I could already see the thoughts and need to spill his guts brewing behind his eyes. "This is my family, I lost them because he managed to brainwash my daughter into thinking he loved her. He turned my own daughter against me, he made her believe that I was the bad guy..... My little girl wants nothing to do with me." Letting out a sad sigh I closed my laptop and rested my head in my hands, well if this career didn't work out I'd be one hell of an actor. "I'm sorry, I really shouldn't be talking about this with you. He is your boss after all..... I didn't get your name...?" He gave me a pity look, normally I would hate pity looks but in this case I I embraced it. "Andrew, but everyone calls me Andy.... I'm really sorry to hear about your family."  He reached his hand out to shake mine. "Thank you, Andy for this file. If you don't mind, I should probably be getting to it now." He just nodded and quickly made his exit, now time to let him do my dirty work.
