The week seemed to drag on as I sat in front of my computer retaking all of the assignments that I took less than five months ago, my mom had stopped by the school to pick up my classwork for the week. So with all the school work that seemed like it never would end, Brendon would text me throughout the day when he had a minute to wish me a good day.

I defiantly had a crush on him and I wasn't sure how to feel about it, we were supposed to meet up tonight but I had to finish the test with a perfect score in order for me to be able to go.

"Ugh! This is so stupid! It's not fair that I have to redo this class because my fuh..." I trailed off when I seen my mom narrowed her eyes at me.

"Sutton, we've been through this. We all know it's not fair but honey... Life isn't fair, trust me!" She said then turned walking away, leaving me to my misery.

Four hours later I was loading the old camping stuff we had into the trunk of my car, my dad had finally found where the movers had placed it and brought it down from the attic. I was pretty excited and nervous to give it to Lenny, I didn't want to offend him but I also wanted to help him. The tent we had bought had three split rooms with a canopy entrance, it was a very nice high end tent that never been used. My mom was really stuck up when it came to camping and my dad had tried to plan a trip but five hours into the heat and we were in a hotel room the next hour.

"Here is the air mattress and the sheets and all the lights and candles. Don't forget the cookware as well, I'm tired of it taking up space in the kitchen." My mom muttered as she loaded it all into the backseat. I just nodded smiling while double checking that I had everything, she had even thrown in some food and some of my dads old clothes.

Driving to the little mini mart I seen Lenny sitting outside sipping on his water while reading the news paper, as I pulled up he looked up and offered me a small smile. I walked over and sat down next to him.

"Good to see you, Sutton. How have you been?" He asked putting his paper down.

"I've been good, I'm glad to bump into you today."

"It's my pleasure to make you happy!" He said smiling even bigger, I bit my lip nervously before I opened my mouth for the next sentence.

"Lenny, I have some things I'd like to give you... I don't want to offend you or anything." I trailed off when I seen his brows come together like he was confused.

"I'm not sure what to say, Sutton." He muttered, I just nodded my head then continued on.

"How about I show you what I have for you." I said standing up then offered him my hand, he looked up at me then placed his old fragile hand in mine.

I led him to the car and showed him everything I had, he made me swear that I did not go out and just buy this recently which I didn't so that wasn't an issue. I could see the happiness in his eyes when I asked if he would accept them, he looked like he just won the jackpot and the way he hugged me tightly made me feel like I just gave him the world.

"Thank you so much, Sutton. You and your family are a blessing." He said hugging me tighter, I'm not much of a hugging person but I didn't say anything and just let him do it.

"Now why don't we see if we can borrow a buggy so we can carry all of this to your camp site and set it up before sunset?" He quickly nodded then walked inside then back out with a buggy.

"Lenny..." I turned around when I heard a young feminine voice behind me, standing there holding a tin-foiled covered plate. Her dark brown hair brought out her vibrant green eyes, she was really pretty and had the looks that could make her look super innocent or straight up bad news.
