Chapter 3

When the plane landed, she got off not really trying to find her new family. The hall had almost cleared when she saw them; all five of them. Her mother, as beautiful as she'd seen her in her pictures with her silky jet black hair, her husband, whose name she didn't know, and her three new siblings whose names she also didn't know. She could've recognized them from a mile away. She was still listening to her Ipod when they walked up to her.

"Ezzy?" Evelyn, her mother, said.

Ezzy nodded and Evelyn immediately hugged her tight. Ezzy gave her a lazy hug and once Evelyn stopped, she just looked at her first born thoroughly."I'm so glad I finally have you here. I haven't seen you since you were born and I want to make up the time," Evelyn said with tears running down her face.

Ezzy still had her Ipod in her ears and finally decided to take them off. She had them on full blast, but she could still hear what Evelyn was saying to her. She just gave her a weak smile that lasted only a couple seconds.

"Oh, I want you to meet our family. This is Charles, my husband, this is Venus, and the twins, Storm and Asher," she said pointing at them as she went from tallest to shortest.

Venus glared at Ezzy with bladed eyes. Ezzy looked down to see the twins and they were both looking at her with their heads tilted to the side. They seemed to be confused about something. Charles just stared at her with no expression on his face. Ezzy, as usual, didn't care so she threw the same expression back only eighty times stronger.

"Let's go get your stuff," Evelyn said too excited.

They all went get her things together, and almost everyone had a bag with them. The only two that didn't were the twins. They got everything into the car and then left. It was a short ride from the airport to the house. The drive way of the house was huge. It could fit at least six cars. The house was surrounded by trees and it was gigantic with a staircase that led to a middle sized patio where the door stood as well. On the sides of where the stairs started were statues of wolves howling. Covering the patio was a roof the size of the patio with pillars holding it up. All of it was pure white marble. On the patio there were chairs around a small glass table.

Everyone took a bag, except the twins, and they went inside. The inside was just as magnificent as the outside. It was black marble floor with a wooden staircase up to the second floor. The living room had the usual furniture and pictures and trophies of the three kids, Venus, Asher, and Storm. On top of the fireplace was a huge picture of Evelyn, Charles, Venus, and the twins when they were babies.

Ezzy stared at it for a moment.

"We're going to update that with you in it. I was waiting for you to get here to do it." Evelyn said.

Ezzy gave her a small tired smile.

Looking at the back was a glass window almost the size of the wall. It was surrounded by a wooden frame, their backyard was a huge pool on a wooden deck with chairs, and behind that it had a beautiful view of a lake surrounded by trees.

"C'mon, I'll show you to your room," Evelyn said.

They climbed up the stairs and down the hallway to the last door on the in the hall. Venus and Charles had already gotten the other two bags in there. Evelyn set down the suitcase and stood there with Ezzy. The whole back wall was a window and the view was astonishing. She could see the lake and a little above the trees. She could also see the sun setting down behind the trees.
