Amy laughs to herself, remembering the shocked looks on everyone's faces yesterday. A nurse walks in at the same time and raises an eyebrow.
"Sorry, I just remembered something funny," Amy apologizes, hoping she didn't creep out the nurse.
"It's good that you're feeling better. How's your side?" The nurse asks, coming over with a fresh pair of bandages.
"Soar...and it sometimes just randomly shoots pain," Amy answers, lifting her shirt up just enough for the nurse to put on the bandage.
This is so uncomfortable...I hate sitting around all day and doing nothing! Calm down, it isn't your first time being cooped up, Amy calms herself as the nurse wraps the bandage around her.
Once the nurse is satisfied, Amy lets go of her shirt and lets out an exhausted sigh,
"I did hear you were tired of being in here," the nurse laughs, taking out the cart.
"Yeah! Thank you," Amy plays with her thumbs.
"It's no problem. You're free to checkout or stay here for a bit if you need it. Just make sure you change the bandage regularly. Sorry for caging you," the nurse slightly bows then starts to leave.
"It's no problem, I'm just extra that's all. Thank you though, I'm gonna leave now," Amy jumps out of bed only to hold her side in pain.
Hearing the quiet yelp, the nurse comes running back and checks her side.
"I am so sorry! Dark Matter is too unpredictable when it comes to wounds!" The nurse grabs more bandages. Amy also gets a small shot from the nurse.
"It's okay..." Amy takes in a deep breath.
"That shot should help...I'm going to tell the doctor that you may need to stay here another day..." the nurse looks worried.
"But I can't stay! I need to go out!" Amy sighs. "I've been cooped up for too long!"
"I'm sorry, but if your wound is somehow reinfected or something else happened to it, then we need to keep you here," the nurse replies, a slightly stern tone. "I need to check the wound."
Amy sighs yet again and sits back up on the bed. She lifts her shirt up again and the nurse starts to check the wound.
"Hmm...you're lucky. Nothing new happened, it just reopened from the sudden movement. That Dark Matter really slowed your healing there. I can let you go but remember that you need to keep your movements slow and steady. Nothing crazy okay?" The nurse re-bandages the wound and then backs away.
"Yay! I can totally do that!" Amy grins.
"I sure hope so, or you'll see a lot more blood," The nurse warns. "Luckily the stitches are still in place as well."
"Thank you!" Amy claps her hand together and slowly gets off the bed. "I'll do my best!" She starts to walk out the door.
"Please do," the nurse slightly bows then takes the cart and follows Amy out.

"You guys ready to meet our family?" Amy looks excited as she asks the teens in the back of the car.
Surprisingly to the teens, the car is able to widen and grow on the inside and not affect the outside structure. Giving the five of them a lot of room.
"Hmmm, any warnings?" Urana asks.
"Anything we need to know about?" Owen adds.
"Nah, it's more fun when you guys don't know what's going on," Amy snickers.
