"Oh, did I miss your older brother?" Amy asks. They all nod.
"You might see him on your way out," Ku suggests.
"It's fine, I need to get back and give Ms. Rose the thing I borrowed from her," Amy shrugs. "See you guys for training tomorrow."
"Bye!" Everyone waves in unison again.
--
Amy steps outside into the pouring rain. Grinning to herself, she grabs the green umbrella on her side and opens it up.
"These things are so strange, I'm used to the simple spell," Amy chuckles to herself as she sets the rod on her shoulder. "Good thing I found it."
Amy walks along the somewhat empty streets, smiling at the people who walk by with their umbrellas. The people smile back, some even asking how she's doing.
I do love this small town...but nothing beats home...Amy looks down at the puddles, remembering the little trip back.
The fairy sees her reflection and stops to study it. Her orange hair is in a loose ponytail from the travel back to Cepheus and her freckles seem to have gotten a little brighter since the trip.
Her green eyes look back up to the rain, then she starts to walk again, holding back a childish urge to splash in the puddles and maybe giggle.
Man, I used to do it all the time when...Amy stares down at her ring that fits snugly on her ring finger. I miss you, you know....and Wysteria is going to pay.
Shaking her head to clear her mind before she went all scary-looking, Amy continues her walk along the streets. Now there are only one or two people around.
Subconsciously, Amy reaches over to her ring and plays around with it. It's tiny diamonds sparkling in the rain. A small rainbow appears, for a slight moment, making Amy smile.
I am having more of a memory lane trip today than I thought...question is, should I tell the teens about why Wysteria is someone I hate so much? She did hurt my siblings...
What they won't be fine without is mental training. Same for me and my siblings too...and those kids think Vada was really bad.
At least she was Sensei's sister...but Wysteria isn't. She is out for the Hlynkas and I won't let her touch them if I have anything to say about it...determination sparkles in Amy's eyes.
I'm not losing more mages to the likes of her...and I think they all feel the same way...but I'm worried about who she might go after-Amy! You can't think negatively! Amy shakes her head.
The rain starts to pour faster and the few people around start to run towards their destination. Amy picks up her pace too, it's getting late and there's no need to ruin her sleep.
Especially before a draining training session.
Glancing around to make sure no one is around, Amy starts to skip along the streets. Joy fills her as she bites her lip to stop some sort of sound coming from her mouth.
You know, I wish Alex and Ava were here, then we could all just splash in the puddles, Brenton might join us, heck I bet they all would at one point. Jeez...the hole just got bigger...
Shaking her head yet again, Amy finds herself missing her siblings. Her gaze dropping to the ground.
"Ah, seriously, I can't see a thing!"
Amy's head jolts up to the sound of a familiar voice but sees someone she doesn't recognize. By the looks of him, he seems to be a year older than Amy. His brown hair darkened by being wet and his eyes covered with his frames that are spotted with raindrops.
