Brenton watches as Carol and Tyler rush over to the entrance of the Orphanage to greet whoever came in.
All the kids look at Brenton, each and every one of them looking curious while Sara and Zola vaguely understand what a person's visit means.
Four adults walk into the back, Carol and Tyler and two males. By the way they were holding hands, Brenton assumes they're gay.
One of the males is a chestnut skinned, honey colored hair and brown eyed man while the other male has jet black hair with green eyes and an olive skin tone.
"Meet Mr. and Mr. Daniels everyone," Carol introduces them with a smile. Brenton knows she's having the time of her life, given that she loved the LGBTQ+ community and that she herself is part of it, being bisexual.
"That's Brenton," Tyler points to Brenton with pride in his eyes like a father would. The redhead couldn't help but feel happy.
"That's Sara and that's Zola," Tyler points over to the two of them, who are fixing each other's hair.
"Then the twins, Tim and Tina," Tyler points to the twins who are busy playing with their clothes, then pointing to each other and laughing.
"And our youngest, Zack," Tyler points to the tiny child who, upon hearing his name, starts clapping his hands.
"Feel free to talk to them, they're all very social but just be careful about their clothes, it's their favorites," Carol smiles at the kids, more specifically at Brenton.
Brenton nods his head, he's ready to start judging.
That sounds funny...haha, I'm ready to judge them...Brenton laughs in his mind as he takes a seat near the wall and takes out his summer book. He wasn't going to read it but instead, watches the couple.
Both of the males seem really nervous, which Brenton finds absolutely hilarious. He then understood why, given that all the kids seem to have a guard up.
The brown eyed one waves to Sara, who looks at Brenton. As if asking him if this person was safe. Brenton nods his head to let her know it's okay. She then turns around and waves back.
The one with green eyes almost jumps back when Zola starts to tear up. She turns to her side and sees Sara playing a game with the other man then turns around to look at Brenton. He gives her a smile, reassuring her that everything is fine. Trusting Brenton, Zola wipes her tears and the man offers a handshake.
Zack looks at the two males with curiosity, he had no idea who these people are but it didn't stop him from trying to get them to play with him. He glances over at Brenton, as if looking for approval, and when Brenton smiles Zack quickly goes about it again.
He gets them to play with him for a while, the males enjoying playing with Zack. Tina stands guard in front of Tim, watching the strangers from the corner of her eyes. Brenton notices and smiles, he makes eye contact with the twins and nods in their direction. With that, Tina looks calmer while Tim simply smiles.
After a while, Zack decides that the males are boring and goes back to his toys, much to the couple's dismay. The only kids not playing with their toys are the twins, which the adults approach with caution.
Tina waves, unsure of what to do and Tim copies her. Brenton watches as the males wave back, broad smiles on their faces. Tim shows him his favorite toy, being a green car. Tina looks as though Tim just did something illegal.
That means he trusts them? Dang, that kid is quick...and those two don't seem so bad...Brenton thinks.
Tim then tries to get Tina to do the same thing. She huffs, her hair flying then goes and shows them her favorite toy, being a matching green car.
