First day

Chapter one

"Mom!" I yelled because she's practically deaf. "Yes hun?" She answered. "Mom where's my mascara!" I yelled back. Let me clear this up a little for you, it's the first day of 8th grade and I'm meeting with my friends Nicole and Jessica outside my house so we can walk to school together. We've known each other for about 7 years. Bffs, no doubt. Both of my friends are really into sports Jessica is an amazing swimmer and Nicole loves basketball. I like sports but, I don't know, I just don't really have time for it. Anyway, I have to put on my make up, and meet them out there. "It's here in the kitchen!" My mom yells. I run downstairs as fast as I can then grab it and run back up to my room. I put on my mascara, then eyeliner, and that's pretty much all the make up I wear. Wait! Jessica and Nicole! I rush over to my window and there they are in my front yard. I grab my back pack and run out the door. "Bye mom see you later love you." I said as I left. "Hey Jessi, hey Nicole" I said. "Hey you excited?" Nicole asked. "Yep can't wait" I replied. "I hope the guys finally matured after being absolute PIGS in 6th and 7th grade!" Said Jessi. We finally arrived at school and waited outside until the bell rang. My first period is social studies, then math, then science, then theater, then English, then lunch, then reading, and I finish the day off with choir. 68, 16, 20 I put in my locker. It won't open.. I try again. Still won't open! I get a teacher to help me then it opens. Wow locker, wow. Anyway, I fianally get out my social studies things and off I go to 1st period. Then I hear the bell ring. Really! Late on my first day. Great. I rush as fast as I can and open the door. "Sorry mrs. Slinky.." I said pretending to be apologetic. "It's fine, take a seat". Oh no.. No this can't be happening. The only open seat is next to my crush, Alex.
