Lexi runs over to Alex like he's a magnet and she's a nail. All she does is flirt but you can tell Alex doesn't like her. When it finally comes to lunch time, I sit with Jessi and Nicole (of course). But, surprisingly, Alex comes over and sits with us.. That NEVER happens! He chooses me over friends! "Can you two go over there just for a sec?" He asked Jessi and Nicole. "Sure.. We'll leave you two love birds alone". Wow I hate them so much for saying that! I tense up after hearing that but Alex just brushes it off like its nothing. Once they leave, it's like the whole room disappears accept for me and him. "So, how was summer?" He asked. "Awesome. Yours?" I say. "Ok I guess. I'll tell you about it later. Anyway, I'm here to tell you that I noticed you staring at me. I know you like me. But.." He was interrupted by Lexi. "Hey guys! Oh Alex, I forgot to tell you! Careful with Maya, she started her period last week so she's gunna be moody." How did she.. Wait, she just said that in front of Alex! I can feel my eyes beginning to water and I run to the bathroom. Jessi and Nicole saw what happened so they rush in with me. I couldn't contain myself in there. I was just sobbing and trying to tell them what she said. They were saying "don't worry" "he doesn't care" "it's fine!". It DOES matter, he probably is grossed out by me now, and I'm worrying! Who wouldn't?! When the bell rang to go to 7th period, reading, I was praying that Alex wasn't in there.. But of course, he was. Can this day get any worse?
