The cold fall air hit me when I pushed open the door and started running to Nicole's house. I had to stay somewhere.

When I started running, I turned to see if Alex was following. He was. I ran faster and faster until I stepped on a big rock and twisted my ankle. "Maya!" Alex said, catching up to me. "Alex just leave me alone okay?" "Maya you're hurt.." Alex replied. "I DON'T CARE ALEX. I CAN HANDLE IT MYSELF. JUST GO." I said. "Maya we need to talk."

He helped me up and walked me back to his car. "Alex I'm not going anywhere with you." I said. "I know, we just need a place to talk privately." Alex said. "Alex, you don't need to explain anything. You've moved on, I get it. You don't like me anymore. Now can I please go?" I said, trying to avoid eye contact.

"Maya I did it for you." "What the hell do you mean? You made out with Lexi for me! Gee thanks it sure helped." I said. "No, Maya you don't get it." He replied. "No Alex I understand completely. You don't like me anymore. What we had was fake. You were too good to be true, I knew it" I said, beginning to tear up even more. "MAYA LISTEN TO ME. I DID IT FOR YOU. Lexi said that if I don't make out with her, she would embarrass you 100x more. I just didn't want you to get hurt.." "Get hurt? You didn't want me to get hurt so you made out with your ex? That sure makes sense." I said. "Maya you don't understand. She was going to spread more rumors. I was trying to protect you."

My mind was a mess. Was he telling the truth? Was he lying? I couldn't tell..

"Alex, this sounds stupid, but I can't tell if your lying or not." "I'M NOT LYING MAYA. Why would I lie to you?" He said. "Fine, I'll give you ONE more chance." I said giving in. I don't care if it was a lie, I couldn't let go of him. "Thank you Maya thank you so much. I promise you I won't screw it up. I'll prove to you that it was to protect you. I'm sorry"

Guys I'm really sorry I havent posted much. I swear I'll try to more often
