The next day, I managed to gain the strength to go to school. On the way to school, I was praying that something happened and no one got the picture. Something like the message failed to send. Once I got to school, I stepped out of the car and on to the courtyard expecting to hear people laugh at me. Surprisingly, they didn't. They just avoided me and whispered to the person next to them. I heard a couple of giggles but that's all. I guess today won't be as bad as I thought it would be.
I was telling Nicole and Jessica what happened when Lexi came along and bumped into me on 'accident'. "Hey loser. I'm sorry I sent the whole school that picture. I'll stop being mean to you and I won't do anything like that again" she said.
"Ok..?" I replied. Lexi walked away with her little posse, giggled, then turned around and glanced at me. Suspicious.. She has NEVER said sorry to ANYONE. I don't trust her.. I tried to brush it off and ignore it. When the bell rang, I went to my locker and, as usual, messed up a couple times on the combination. Once I opened it, at least 40 papers fell out.. Lexi printed out the locker room pictures an stuffed them in my locker. I was freaking out because the pictures were all over the hallway. I tried to gather them up as my eyes filled with tears. I gave up, threw them on the floor, and ran into the bathroom. I was bumping into people and pushing them so I could get through. When I got to the bathroom door, my heart dropped. The pictures were posted all over the walls and door and in people's locker. I couldn't breath. I wanted to die. I ran into the bathroom and locked the door. I called my mom and held back my tears so se thought I was fine.
"Hey mom can you do me a favor" I said.
"Sure honey what is it?" She replied
"Can you unlock the house really quick sense your work is 2 minutes away. I feel really sick and I need to stay home. I threw up a couple of times." I said adding in a couple of fake coughs.
"Sure thing" she said.
"Thanks. Bye I love you" I said, ready to break into tears.
I hung up and opened the bathroom door to find a group of people standing there. They all laughed and pointed to the picture as I pushed through the crowd, practically drowning in my tears. I escaped and ran home.
Hey guys. Sorry this is kinda long lol. I'm working on the next one now.
