ALEX POV
Ok so I'm really excited for the movies with Maya! I don't know of she likes me though. I mean I hope she does, but I don't know. We're going to watch if I stay at the movies. I'm supposed to pick her up at 8:00 because the showing time is at 8:30. It's 7:00 so I start getting ready. I take a shower, get dressed, put on cologne, and get in the car. As I'm driving, I think though it would be nice to get her some flowers. I stopped at a flower shop and got her roses. I hope she likes them. I finally get to her house.
MAYA POV
He's almost at my house! I'm so excited I'm shaking. I'm wearing a nice blue laced dress that stops right above my knee with my cowboy boots. I hope he likes what I'm wearing.. I'm not really wearing any makeup, I'm just wearing mascara, skin colored eyeshadow, and winged eyeliner. He pulled up to my driveway and got out of his car. He knocked on the door and I rushed on the stairs to answer. I turned the doorknob and open the door and there he was standing. He looks so handsome. Smile spreads across his face and a smile spreads across my face too. He's so perfect. He hands me roses and then my mom comes.
"Hello mrs. Smith" Alex says.
"Hello! You're so polite" my mom says.
"Mom..." I said before she goes into the "AWE YOU'RE SUCH A NICE POLITE HANDSOME MAN" mode.
He takes my hand and we walk to his car. The car ride seem to last five seconds but when we got there, we kept talking. Once we get into the theater, they only have the ads playing for another like 25 minutes. So as the ads play, we talk. I love talking to him. He can tell when my smile is fake and make it real. He's nice, understanding, smart, funny, and so much more. The movie we are seeing is if I stay. Jessica told me that it was sad but I don't really cry during emotional movies. Like when I saw the fault in our stars, I didn't cry but it was sad. Then there is the final ad that said please turn off your cell phones even though no one ever does. I saw a couple people from my school but I didn't know than that well, I've just seen them around. Halfway through the movie, my phone goes off and so does Alex's phone and the people from my school's phone goes of too. I didn't bother checking because I thought it would distract Alex, but he checked his phone. I couldn't help but look at the screen. It was a text message from Lexi... When he viewed the message, it was a picture of me in the locker room, changing when I had no sports bra.
