E'Dawn's PoV
I open my eyes and see her, unconscious.
Her lips occasionally twitch into a smile, alerting me that she's still alive.
The more I stare, I notice more of her features that I never did.
Her clear skin, her cheekbones, her lips.
Oh gosh, her lips!
What am I thinking?!
It's not like I like her.

I love her?
No!
So what if I did?
She'd never love a jerk like me.
I frown and realize that she has woken up.
"E'Dawn?" she whispers, pulling me out of my self conflict.
"Y-Y/N! You're awake!" I stutter.
" How long have you been staring at me? "
"Not lon- I mean, I wasn't staring! I was seeing if you were alive."
" Mhm sure. "She smirks and pokes my nose before sitting up.
I adjust my self and stare at her again.
Where would I be if I wasn't here with her?
" E'Dawn." She is now standing up and smirking down at me.
"I-"
She crouches down and looks me straight in the eyes.
She lifts my head up closer to her face. My mouth goes dry.
"You-" she pokes my nose "-were staring... Again."
My eyes glance down at her lips and back up at her eyes.
"Are you ok?" She asks, eyebrow raised.
Ugh! How does she do this to me?!
What is going on with me?!
Without noticing, I start to lean in.
She looks at me like I'm a predator.
Absentmindedly, I lick my lips.
"I've never looked at you thoroughly... When you were unconscious, I was lost in the way you looked. You looked peaceful. I realised that I've never seen you as a person. I've always seen myself as the higher person. To me, I was the only one. I was selfish and no one else seemed to matter. But now, you're my priority and I need you. Alive. I need you to guide me throughout this painful trip to make it stop. If you aren't there, I won't be able to live with myself. It feels that I've only just met you. Yet, I've known you since we were kids. But, I want to actually know you. I want to know the real you. And I want you to know the real me. I want to show you the person beyond the jerk. I want you to meet Kim Hyojong."
