Y/N's POV
"What?" Hui looked at her worriedly.
"I caught up to her. Turns out she took a gun with her. I tried to reason with her. She said it was over. She said she was sorry. She put it to her head. I pushed it away but it went off, creating a loud gunshot. It attracted the zombies while we wrestled for the gun. I didn't see them. She did. She gave me the gun and pushed me away, allowing herself to fall back into the growing herd of those monsters. " I started crying. " I screamed, telling her that it wasn't her fault, crying that she didn't deserve it. They looked up from her nearly lifeless body-" I choked on my sobs. "-they saw me and started chasing me. Don't let them hear us. They're outside." I cried silently into E'Dawn's shirt as him and Hui stared at each other in sad awe.
E'Dawn wrapped his arms around me, hugging me, understanding my pain.

Eventually, the zombies had cleared. Hui had gone out for a walk to clear his head. And I finally stopped crying. E'Dawn didn't let me go though. He kept humming lovely tunes to calm me. It worked.
"We have to leave. " He said abruptly, making me look up at him.
" We can't just leave Hui. He's going through the same thing we are. "
" But he loves you-"
"E'Dawn-"
"He can't love you! " His voice rose." That's my job and my job only. "
" E'Dawn-"
" I tried everything to make him stop. He is just so stubborn and-"
"Kim Hyojong... "I sat up on his lap, running my hand through his hair." Kim Hyojong is the man I am madly in love with and no one can change my view of my very handsome half-zombie boyfriend. " I teased him as he smiled wide.
" And this is why I don't want anyone to have you. You're mine and that's the way it's gonna be... "
