"He was a bit strange, wasn't he?" Stephen asked once Dec and him were on their way to the club.

"Hm" Dec said absent-mindedly. He had noticed it as well. He knew Ant was the gentlest person he knew and actually he thought it was quite sweet of him to give him some alone time with Stephen. But of course he wondered whether Ant really didn't want to come along.

He promised himself to call him the next day and ask him about it and tell him that he didn't have to feel like that, that he was always welcome.

"Thought we could find him a nice lass, that's how you say it, right?" Stephen giggled and put an arm around Dec.

"Or a lad" Dec added and raised his index finger.

"What?!" Stephen exclaimed and stopped walking.

"What what?" Dec laughed.

"A lad?" Stephen asked confused.

"Yeah, why not? He hasn't been with one in a while, so..." Dec started before the penny dropped. "Wait, you didn't know he is bisexual?" he added and giggled.

"No" Stephen said and Dec couldn't quite decipher what he was thinking. "I... err... I thought.... Lisa and that."

"Yeah, well" Dec smiled. "I don't know if you know, but being bisexual means you like men AND women" he added and giggled.

Stephen rolled his eyes and sighed loudly.

"What is it?" Dec asked innocently when he noticed Stephen didn't laugh along.

"Nothing, I just didn't know" Stephen said absent-mindedly. "Why didn't he tell me? Why didn't you tell me? After all we are together."

"What's that got to do with Ant's sexuality?" Dec laughed.

"Well, he is your best friend after all" Stephen said and frowned a bit.

Dec still didn't undestand how this was related and it actually took him a while to realise what was going on. But when he looked up at his boyfriend and saw the sceptical look on his face, he suddenly knew why Stephen was saying all that.

"Oh my God, are you jealous?" Dec laughed out loud and he couldn't even stop anymore. "Stephen, we've known each other for almost 10 years now."

"I know" Stephen said quickly. "And no, I am not jealous. I am just... surprised, that's all."

"Hm okay" Dec giggled and actually he thought it was quite cute that Stephen was so concerned. So he hugged him and kissed him gently afterwards. "Sorry, I kind of assumed you knew that, after all he has talked about Jonathan a few times."

"Oh, that's his ex-boyfriend, yeah?" Stephen said and now he had to laugh a bit as well. "I thought it was just a former friend he doesn't see anymore."

The two finally made their way down the street, and with talking about Ant and all that, Dec couldn't help but think about his best friend in that moment. He missed him and he wished he had come with them.

Dec wanted Ant to find someone new, it had been nearly 8 months now that he broke up with Lisa and he could tell that Ant was lonely.

Also that he had said that he didn't want to disturb them was odd. Actually, Dec thought that Ant maybe didn't want to be with a couple because it made him sad that he didn't have someone himself. He imagined how wonderful it would be to go on double dates and to spend time together all four of them eventually.

"We have to find Ant someone" Dec said out loud and Stephen nodded and kissed Dec's temple.

Ant meanwhile lay in bed but he couldn't sleep. He saw Dec in front of him and of course Stephen having his arms around him, Dec smiling at his boyfriend and Stephen smiling back. Ant hadn't wanted to go with them just because he couldn't take it anymore.

He couldn't see them so in love, he couldn't be around them for more than a few hours, it was just too much. He knew Dec had wanted him to come with them and Ant very rarely said no to Dec. But this was too much.

He sighed loudly and rolled over. He begged his head to stop these thoughts. Why did he have to fall for Dec in the first place? Or did he only think that he was in love with Dec? Was this real?

Ant thought about it and his heart ached again and he was absolutely sure, there was no doubt. He buried his face in his pillow and groaned loudly.

He was so fed up with this whole situation. He would rather have Dec as single back. He wouldn't even make a move on him, just having him to himself would be nice. He just so desperately wanted everything to be like before.

And he didn't know how much longer he could stay close to Dec and Stephen because every time he saw them together a little piece of him died inside.
