Victoria
Eyes Black, Fangs Out
I caught Mary by the shoulders and bit into her. She screamed and, I toppled her with my weight, digging my nails into her shoulders. I screamed and hissed on top of her. She struggled below me, and I laughed. I felt the electric shock of a prod against my back, and I pounced off her body and landed in a tree, looking down at them. The Mason's mother dropped her gun and started running. I jumped down and heard her back crack as I landed on her. I went ape shit on her probably dead body and ripped into it ravenously. I was shot in the back and whipped around to see the youngest boy shaking with a gun. I took a step and arrived in front of him.
I smiled and put my hand to his chest, "Corpus crepitus," and he exploded into bits of flesh and blood. The last living member of the Mason family fired on me, knowing it was his only chance of living. I took almost every bullet in the chest until he ran out of ammo. I walked up to him, and he stared at me in horror as the bullets had almost already been pushed out of my body.
"H-H-how?"
"I want to keep you alive." I smiled menacingly. "But I will not." I drove my hand into his chest and pulled out his heart. He fell to the ground and died most painfully.
Clap, clap, clap. "Very scary, I applaud you." Mary drawled sarcastically. Her wounds had already healed, and we stared into each other's soulless, black eyes. "I know you are powerful, normally, but that was truly terrifying. When I kill you, I'll tell Ana the story of how you were brutally killed by the wolves, and she'll personally kill all of them, never knowing the truth."
"Do not dare touch a hair on Ana's head!""Oh, do you still like her?"
"Fuck you."
"I'm not hearing a no." She separated every word oddly and grew angrier with every syllable.
"I am going to kill you now." I sped up to her and grabbed her by her neck.
"You might be a vampire/wizard mix, but that's not what I am." She shrieked. A banshee cry. I was blown backwards and held my ears. I was disabled by the scream and waddled around, barely able to stand.
"Clipeum," I was barely able to hear my own words through the ringing.
Mary hit the circle of protection I'd put up her direction. I held out my hand to hold the shield up, removing it from my ear. I felt blood dribbling down from my ear, and I wiped it away. She tapped the shield, watching the magic ripple like water. She started punching and punching it until it shattered. I was still too disjointed to do anything, and she kicked me to the ground, her kicks aimed at my stomach.
"Get up." Kick. "Get up!"
I slowly shifted my weight to rise. She kicked me down again, and I slid across the ground, puffing up dirt. My chest, back wounds, and cattle prod wounds were so close to healing. I just needed a few more seconds. Maybe I really should have tried to avoid a few bullets. She picked me up by the arm so I was hanging with my knees almost touching the ground.
"I thought you'd be a lot more difficult. I guess I beat you too much before."
She brought her arm back for another punch, but I caught her fist and looked up at her with a sparkle in my eye. My old wounds had finally solidified freeing me.
I pushed her back by her fist and dropped to the ground, hitting my knees. I formed a fireball and threw it at Mary. She deflected it, but when she looked back up, I was now standing in front of her.
"Hello." I kneed her in the face and then took a couple running steps to drop kick her in the chest. She stumbled back, and I slid into a clean landing. She tried to swing her arm to hit me, but instead, I grabbed it and broke it swiftly. She fell to the ground, her mouth agape in a scream. I picked her up by her hair and took a hold of her neck.
