Epilogue
"Hi, umm, I am not sure how much you know, but there are some things that you need to be made aware of." I touched the youthful figure on the screen. "So, first of all, my real name is Victoria Annalise de Longueau. I am French, even though I know I do not sound like it. To explain the accent, I lived in London for a long time." She put her face in her hands. "Why am I even doing this? You are not going to care. You are in fact going to hate me! You might be thinking 'why would I hate you, Victoria', and that is because I can do this." She closed her eyes and opened them, making them black. "Ta-da! A man named James Morris- ugh, why am I doing this? I do not need to tell you my life story!"She sighed. "Hey, look," she leaned seriously into the camera, "I cannot fall in love, but when I think of the last couple months with you, " her video figure stopped talking and looked down. "You are the best person I have ever known in all my five hundred years." She leaned closer to the camera. "I have a lot of secrets, and I cannot hope to tell you them all, but just know one thing: that no matter what happens, if we die or not, know that-" She stopped herself. "Grow up. Get married. Forget me. Have some kids, name them anything but after me. Forget me. Live your life and save the world if the occasion arises." She grabbed the computer mouse, "I will never forget you." The video clicked off.
