Over the rest of your short break, you hung out with your friends almost everyday. Especially Jack. You found that he was really caring and sincere, as well as funny. You knew you probably shouldn't be doing this because you didn't want a rebound relationship. That wouldn't be fair to Jack, but you felt yourself wanting to be closer to him no matter what.

"Text me this weekend, alright?" You said to Jack as you were walking out of Ethan's house together. It was Sunday night and almost time for school to start back up.

"I will, love." Jack smiled at you, stopping for a second to admire you for a second with those sparkling blue eyes. It was like something sparked inside of both of you and Jack's lips were suddenly locked with yours. Almost immediately, he panicked and pulled back. "Sorry!"

Jack ran off to his car and pulled out of Ethan's driveway as fast as he possibly could, the tires squealing against the concrete as he sped away. You stood there in shock at what just happened, your lips still tingling from his touch. Butterflies formed in your stomach and immediately you felt very afraid. You knew you shouldn't be doing this, but you just couldn't help yourself. You didn't want to wait for Dark to get over his hissy fit anymore. You wanted Jack. Fuck, you just hope you aren't making a huge mistake.

"Sup Felix." You playfully wiggled your eyebrows at him as you took a seat next to him in first hour. Unfortunately, he was the only person you knew in that class and the two of you weren't very close.

"How's it going?" He nodded, glancing up from his notebook at you. Felix was pretty chill with you now, yet still quite reserved. He also liked dead memes, but that's whatever.

"I don't wanna be here." You answered honestly, frowning at the very idea of school. Bim popped up from behind his podium and glared at you with his hands on his hips.

"It is a privilege to be in my class, Ms. (L/N)." He said with a fake smile, his voice laced with venom that begged you to challenge him. Wasn't it a bit early in the tri to start hating a student?

"Oh really, Mr. Trimmer?" You shot back, knowing that you probably shouldn't be getting in the ring with him. "If it's such a privilege, why does everybody switch out of it?"

Class was about to start and there were maybe 10 people in there, a clear indicator that what you said was the truth. Bim stood there with his mouth hanging slightly open, clearly not used to being challenged much. He regained his composure and put on that fake smile before stepping out behind his podium.

"Ms. (L/N)," He placed his hands on your desk and leaned in towards your face, his cold brown eyes locking with yours behind his glasses. "You are playing with fire. We wouldn't want you getting burned, now would we?"

"I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that poorly disguised threat." You sneered, not backing down in the slightest. A smile crept across your face as you prepared your finishing blow. "You're already in enough trouble with Dark as it is."

"You little-" Bim started, but noticed the whole class was watching the two of you. "I don't want to hear another word from you for the rest of the period."

Bim went on with the lecture and you found that he was rather animated and flamboyant in the way that he spoke. He was honestly a mix between Wilford and Dark, which weirded you out a bit.

By the end of class, you started to feel a bit guilty about your remarks towards him. Sure, Bim was an arrogant asshole and your comments weren't unwarranted, but you did not want this kind of relationship with him. Especially this early in the year. You were going to have to swallow your pride and apologize.
