A ringing noise awoke you from your oh so sweet, but a bit unsatisfying slumber. You glanced at the time and saw that it was already seven o'clock! You told Dark that you'd be over by six. He was going to be very pissy when you answered him.

"Hello?" You said groggily, still waking up from your sleepy state.

"Where are you?" He sounded both angry and concerned. "I've tried calling you five times."

"Leave me alone. I was tired and took a little nap." You rubbed your eyes, stretching in your bed with a yawn. "I'll be over in a bit, okay?"

"If you fall asleep again, I will come to your home and retrieve you." He threatened, but you didn't take him seriously when you really should have.

"Do it, you won't." You challenged, hoping that some joking would lighten the mood. "No balls."

"Oh really?" Dark appeared in front of you, nearly making you scream.

"How did you-"

"You should know better than to challenge me, my dear." He interrupted, scooping you up from your bed.

"Wait!" You whisper-yelled as you kicked your feet. "Let me get my shit first and be quiet. I don't want my mom to hear."

Dark rolled his eyes, but luckily he did set you down. You had managed to pack your bag before falling asleep, so you didn't have to keep him waiting much longer.

Dark grabbed your hand and took you to his apartment in a flash. You still weren't used to the teleportation, but at least you didn't feel sick this time. He pulled you close to him and gave you a big ole kiss. Your lips met for a brief second before he instantly pulled back.

"Is there something you aren't telling me?" He asked, raising a brow at you. How the fuck did he know something was up?

"What do you mean?" You said nervously, trying to get some distance between you two. However, His iron grip on your waist wouldn't allow it.

"You taste different." He squinted his eyes at you as you visibly cringed at his wording.

"That's weird, Dark." You would do anything that would get the attention away from you at the moment. For whatever reason, you felt like he just can't know about the house. You didn't want to deal with the lecture.

"Relationships are built upon trust, (Y/N)." He finally let you go, giving you the much needed space. "I will trust that you aren't lying to me."

"Good." You smiled, hoping that he didn't see right through your facade. You did feel guilty about lying to him, but it was for a good reason. "Hey, I gotta go to the bathroom, so I'll be right back."

After you left the bathroom, you somehow stumbled into what looked like a storage room. There was a single box setting up against the wall that appeared to be open. Against your better judgement, you chose to snoop.

You opened the box and glanced inside, finding a cracked mayor pin and pictures of three men. One was holding a cane and wearing a suit, another was wearing a red robe, and the third was dressed liked a person from Jumanji. On the back it was labeled "Damien, Mark, and William—1919."

You shook your head with wide eyes. You knew Who Killed Markiplier supposedly took place in the 1920s, but it was never real until now. You wondered why Dark even kept this stuff and why you happened to find it now.

The happy smile on the trio's faces made your heart ache. Especially seeing Damien turn into Dark. Yes, Dark was your significant other and you loved him, but you knew he wasn't the best person. The contrast between him and Damien was like night and day. You wondered, if he had the chance, would he go back to being Damien?
