You and your friends had been hanging out every Saturday, usually at Ethan's. His parents never seemed to be home, which he didn't particularly mind. Whenever you asked him about it though, he would dismiss you and change the subject. You chose to leave it be, rather than making him uncomfortable.
As for theater, you all collectively decided to preform Hairspray. Auditions had been held about a week ago and Wilford had yet to announce the results. That didn't really surprise you since Wilford was pretty ditzy at times.
In terms of school, your group was content to eat in the library with Mr. Oliver where no one would disturb you. Your classes were still boring, but at least you had friends in some of them. Most of the time you would stare off into space, waiting for the hour to end. Dark's class was especially mundane, but at least he was pretty to look at.
He treated you just the same as the rest of the students, but Fridays (when you didn't have practice) after class he would ask you to stay longer. You two would talk about life or whatever came to mind. Despite his hardass facade, he was easy to talk to. In the blink of an eye, two months had gone by.
"Ms. (L/N)." Was it Friday already? "Come here." His demanding tone sent immediately created butterflies in your stomach.
"Yeah, what's up?" You asked calmly, walking up to his desk. He stood, grabbing your waist and pushing you onto his desk. He crashed his lips onto yours, the forcefulness catching you by surprise. He didn't pull back until you were absolutely breathless.
"I was wondering if you'd like to go on another date?" He questioned, his hands lingered possessively on your waist.
"If you ask me like that every time, I'll never be able to say no." You teased, his little smirk grew wider. "When?"
"Tonight?" He suggested, his eyes falling to your lips once more. Before you could answer, you phone started to ring. Your hands lingered on his chest for a second, not wanting to break the contact.
"Just a second." You said, begrudgingly pulling away from Dark. You walked out into the hall and answered. "Hello?"
"Hey, Wilford decided that we're having practice today." Ethan said hastily, footsteps thundering down the hallway. "Hurry, you're gonna wanna see this."
You were about to ask Ethan what he meant, but he hung up before you could. You huffed in annoyance and walked back into Dark's class. Quickly, you scooped up your belongings without a word. He looked up at you curiously, wondering why you were in such a rush.
"About the date, I would love to." You wrote down you number on a piece of paper and handed it to him. "I gotta go. Text me the details, okay?" He gave you a curt nod before returning back to his paperwork on his desk.
In your scramble to get to practice, you ran directly into someone. You looked up and noticed it was Mr. Fischbach. Normally, he had an inviting smile on his face, but the scowl currently on his face looked like it'd never disappear.
"Excuse me." He said, stepping around you and marching into Dark's classroom. You wondered what he could be so upset about.
By the time you got to the theater, you were completely out of breath. On stage was a cross-dressing Bob standing gloriously in the center. Next to him was Kathryn, who was doing her best not to laugh.
"You've never looked better, Bob." Wade called from the back, earning a few snickers from the other theater members.
"I just knew it'd fit!" Warfstache appeared beside you, causing you to jump. He walked up to Bob and circled around him, examining the costume more closely. "You are going to make a lovely Edna!"
