Help me//Reddie

Richie walked into school and looked around for Bev. As he walks through the crowd he can feel the other students starring at him but he just keeps his head down. Ever since the "incident" last year no one looks at him the same. He always here his peers talking behind his back,spreading rumours and even bullying him. Richie does have some friends, Stan and Bill but the only person he trusts is Beverly. She's been there for Richie through
everything,and stayed by his side even after the "incident".

As he walks down the hallway he spots a girl with short hair that's the colour of fire,Bev. Richie walks up to her. She sees him and smiles.
"Hey,Richie!" She says putting her hand up to give Richie a high five.
"Hey,Bev." He says giving her a high five.
"How's your wrists." She says a little quieter and glances at his arm. Richie has 13 scars on his arms. Seven on his left arm and six on his other arm.
He sighs "Getting better." Richie says with a little smile but he was lying. Nothing was getting better.
Than the bell rings for first period. So the two walk together to room 17,their English class.

Richie and Bev sit in their usual seats in the back right corner. They do this because if they sat in front of someone people could talk about Richie and he wouldn't even notice.

"Ok,class.Before we start I would like to introduce our new student." As she says that a short boy walks in. He has hair the colour of hazel nuts and beautiful brown eyes. Once he comes in Richies eyes light up.

"This is Eddie Kaspbrak." The teacher announced to the class. Eddie just smiles a little and waves.

"Have you got a tour of the school yet?" The teacher asked. Eddie shacks his head.

She scans the room for a second and her eyes land on Richie.

"Richie." She says. Richie is startled by this because he isn't paying attention to the teacher he's looking at Eddie.

"Y-yes." He says.

"Can you come here." She asks. So,Richie sands up and walks up to the front of the room. He can feel the eyes starring at him. He can hear them all whisper.

"Can you show Eddie around?" She asks. Richie just nods. He's looking down. "Hi." Eddie says. Richie looks up at the boy and feels himself blush.
"H-hi." He says.

"Ok,Richie go give him a tour." The teacher says with a smile.

The two boys walk out of the room together and start to walk down the hall.

"I'm Richie by the way." Richie says. Eddie smiles.
"I'm Eddie,but you already know that." Eddie responds and blushes a little.

After about thirty minutes, the boys where more conferable with each other and Eddie decides to ask more personable questions.

"So,do you have a girlfriend?" He asks. Richie blushes.

"Well... no. Do you?" Richie asks back. He probably does Richie says to him self Look at his he's...beautiful!

"Well...." Eddie began.

"I'm gay."

"Oh." Richie responds. "Cool." He says looking at Eddie and smiles.

After the tour Richie couldn't stop thinking of Eddie. Just the way Eddie would look at him. As Richie thought about it his heart flutters. No matter how hard he tries to focus on his school work Richie couldn't get that boy out of his mind.

The bell rings for lunch and Richie goes and sits where he normally does with Beverly. About five minutes into lunch Richie spots Eddie from across the room looking for somewhere to sit.

Is that the new kid?" Bev asks Richie.
"Yeah." He responds. "Hey Eddie!" Richie yells trying to get Eddies attention but no one else's.

Finally Eddie sees Richie and smiles. Eddie than walks over to the two.

"Can I sit?" Eddie asks. Richie and Beverly nod.

"Eddie this is my friend Bev." Richie says.
Beverly than extends her arm and shacks Eddies.

The three teens talk about life and school and other stuff about themselves. After a little Eddie notices the scars on Richies wrists.

"Hey Richie what are those scars from?" Eddie asks and the tree go silent.

"Well...um..." Richie began but didn't want to finish. He doesn't want Eddie to know. He wants to have someone that doesn't know about his scars or his depression or the "incident".

"Richie?" Eddie says. "Are you ok?" Eddie is confused what's wrong with Richie.

"I'm fine..." he says trying to smile but his hands start to shack.

"Do you need the nurse?" Eddie asks and then starts to stand up.

"No." He says quickly. "I just..." He starts to calm down a little.

Eddie then realized what happened.

"Oh my god Richie! I didn't mean to be rude. I understand... I-i shouldn't have asked." Eddie says knowing that he shouldn't have had said something.

"No,Eddie it's fine." Richie says.

Shit Richie you already messed things up! Richie says to himself he thinks you're crazy! Why can't you just be normal?!

"No Richie I didn't mean to hurt you-" but he was cut off.

"No you didn't hurt me. I shouldn't have over reacted,sorry."Richie says looking down.

"No,Richie don't apologize." Eddie says grabbing Richies hand. With that action Richies heart flutters and Richie knows he has a crush.

    But I hope you enjoyed it. Next chapters will be in characters POV's, so next chapter will be in Richie's POV.
