Richie's POV-
I woke up and the only thing on my mind was Eddie. I remember all the things we talked about last night. And the kiss.
It meant nothing. I say to myself, it was just a friendly kiss,it meant nothing to him!
I sigh. Then,suddenly, my phone starts to ring. I look over and when I see the name my heart flutters. Eddie.
"Hello." I say into the phone.
"Hey Richie, Do you want to hangout today?" He asks. I can tell that he's wide awake, either he woke up really early or he never went to sleep.
"Yeah, Where do you want to meet?" I ask.
"How about the arcade?" He asks. I agree.
"Can meet you in 20 minutes." He says.
"Bye." Then he hangs up.
I put down my phone and get dress. I decide to wear ripped jeans and a 'Panic! At the disco' shirt.
I walk down stairs and I see my mom. She's smoking a cigarette and a cup of coffees beside her.
"Hey,Richie." She says with a smile.
"Hi." I say quietly. I just keep walk to the front door.
"Where are you going?" She asks but I just stand there for a moment.
"Going to hang out with a friend." I say. She puts out the cigarette and throws it on a plate.
"I'm worried about you,Richie." She says quietly.
"I know. You always are." I mumble the last part.
She walks closer to me but I just stand still.
"I heard you leaving last night." She says and my stomach flips.
"Where did you go?" She asks but I don't answer. Now she's only a couple feet in front of me and is slowly walking forwards.
"Where did you go!" She says louder but I just put my head down. I don't care if she's worried or she wants to know where I was, it doesn't matter.
Suddenly, she grabs my wrist tight and pulls me towards her. She looks at my scars then back up at me.
"Where did you go last night and who were you with?!" She yells in my face.
"The Quarry. With my friend!" Say back and rip my wrist from her grasp.
"Richie." She says as I'm about to open the door.
"What?" I say.
"Don't do anything stupid." She says. I just shack my head and leave.
"Hey Rich!" I hear someone call. I turn my head to see Eddie. He's wearing a pastel pink t-shirt with black leggings and a fanny pack.
"Hey Eds!" I say and walk up to him. I see sitting beside him is Bev.
You idiot! I think to myself, You thought this was going to be like a date! Just you two.
I try not to think to much about that and just wave to Bev.
"Lets go play some games!" Bev says and the three of us go inside.
We play games for about an hour. After that we walk over to the restaurant across the street.
"So,Eddie..." Bev starts. "Is there any girls you got your eye on at school?" Eddie chokes on his drink.
"Bev,I'm gay." Eddie says. Bev just sits there for a moment, with he eyes wide.
"Oh,my god Eddie I didn't know!" She says.
Eddie laughs, "it's fine."
Bev looks over at me, "Does he know." She asks quietly.
I smile and nod my head. "I told him last night."
Bev looks confused for a moment.
"Did you guys...?" She asks.
"No!" I yell. "Bev we just met!"
"Oh, thank god!" She says and we all laugh but I can feel myself blush.
After we finish eating we reside to head home. We all live close but Eddies house is farther so we stop there first.
"Thanks guys, that was really fun." Eddie says.
"No probably." I say with a smile.
"Ok,I'll talk to you guys later." He says.
"Bye,Bev." He waves. "Bye,Richie." As he says that he blushes a little and can feel my face get hot.
"Bye Eddie." I say and Bev and I continue to walk.
Out of the corner of my eye I see Bev smirking at me.
"What?" I ask. She just shacks her head.
"Do you like,Eddie?" Bev asks. I can feel whole face go red.
"N-no." I say quietly.
"Don't lie!" She says. "I see the way you look at him." She says with a smirk.
"What do you mean?!" I say.
"When ever he looks at you, you blush." She says. "And you're always looking at him!"
"Ok,maybe I do like." I say blushing.
"Aww, Richies got a crush!" She yells.
"Shut up, you're so loud." I say trying to put my hand over her mouth.
But she's right, I do have a crush.
Sorry this chapter was a little short but the next chapters will be longer!
