Help me//Reddie

Richie's POV-

    I sit out side of the principals office next to Eddie. We are both quiet as we wait to be called in.

    "Hey,Richie." Eddie says. I look up at him.

    "Thanks for sticking up for me." He says.

    I feel myself turn red.

   "No probably,Eds." I say and I see him blush as well.

    Then,the door opens and Beverly walks out.

    "What's happening?" I ask.

    "I'm suspended for a week, I think we all are." She says. I nod. "And it's your turn Richie."

    I walk into the room and sit on a chair that is on the opposite side of the principals chair,facing him.

    "Hello,Richie." He says. I simply nod.

    "Are you ok." He asks.

    "Ya,I only have a couple bruises." I say in response.

    "No, I mean mentally." He say. "Are you ok?"

    "No. Well not exactly. I'm getting better,I guess." I say looking down.

    "I have a quick question..." he begins, "Are you and Eddie...in a relationship? And if so is that the reason for this behaviour?" He asks.

    "Wait,What!?" I say.

    "Because I have heard other students talking-" but I quickly cut him off.

    "You shouldn't believe everything you hear. Especially here." I say raising my voice a little.

    "I know,I was just assuming." He says.

    "Oh,I understand." I say in a bit of a sarcastic tone.

    "Richie-" he begins again.

    "No,it's ok." I say looking back down, "I get it."

    The principal just sighs.

    "You are going to be suspended for one week." He says. I nod and stand up.

    "And Richie..." I stop in the door way and look at him.

   "If you ever need anyone to talk to I am here." He says.

    "No I'm good, I already have a therapist and three different counsellors who are always watching me for that." I say and slam the door.

   
    The next day Eddie,Beverly and I decide to go to the Quarry.

    When we all arrive we just sit and talk. We swim for a little but that's it.

"What do you guys want to do?" I ask.

"How about we play some truth or dare?" Bev suggests with a snicker.

"Why not?" Eddie says but what he doesn't know is that Bev is going to do something extreme,like make Eddie and I hug or kiss...

"Ok,Eddie you start us off." Beverly says.

"Truth or dare?" He says

"Truth."

Eddie thinks for a moment then gets an idea.

"If you had to date one guy in our school who would it be?" He asks. I look over at Bev and see her blush.

"I would have to say... Bill." She says in response.

"Oh,does some one have a crush?" I say with a chuckle.
