Help me//Reddie

Richie's POV-

That night I couldn't stop thinking of Eddie. I don't know but there is something about him. But I just met him.

Suddenly,I wake up. It's pitch black in my room and I can't see anything. I reach my hand out and try to find my glasses on my bed side table.

Finally I find them and I put them on. I then see my alarm clock flashing the time,2:53.

Good I don't have school tomorrow because I won't be able to fall sleep again. I never can sleep. I don't care about sleep,I don't care if I'll be tired,I don't care about much.

I look around and try to think of something to do to pass the time. Then I think about Eddie,maybe he's up.

I then remember that we exchanged numbers at school. So,I grab my phone a look for his number.

I text him saying, 'you up?' I then wait about thirty seconds till he responds with: 'Ya I never sleep'

I then reply with:'meet me at the quarry in ten minutes.'

   I then turn off my phone and go to my closet. I look for something to wear. I end up picking a pair of black jeans and a black hoodie.

   I walk down stairs and try to stay. My parents have been over protective every since I've been diagnose with depression. They think I'm going to do something to myself. I'm sixteen not ten but they don't trust me anymore not after what I did.

    I walk down to the woods. After about five minutes of walking a make it to the Quarry. I sit on a rock and wait for Eddie.

    I know we just meet but I think I should tell Eddie I'm bisexual. He did tell me he was gay.

    As I day dream about Eddie I suddenly feel a tap on my shoulder that startles me. I turn my head to see Eddie.

    "Oh hey Eddie." I say with a smile.

   "Hey,Rich." Eddie says. Rich? No ones calls me that. I can feel my face go red.

   He sits on the rock beside me. We sit in silence for a moment or two before he breaks it.

    "Richie I'm sorry for what I said at school." He says.

    "Eddie don't be I just over reacted. I should have just told you with out freaking out." I say in response.

    "You probably think I'm crazy." I say with a little bit of a laugh.

    "All the best people are." He say with a smile.
I than burst out laughing.
"Did you actually just quote a freaking song!" I say. He starts to laugh too and I realize how much I like him.

    After a hour or two of us just talking about random stuff I finally gain the courage to tell him I'm bi.

    "Hey Eddie." I say and he looks at me.
"Can I tell you something?" I ask. He smiles.
"Anything." I blush and look down.

"I'm bisexual." I say. He sits there for a second than smiles bright.

    "Cool." He says in response. And then I realized that's what I said when he told me he was gay.

    "Wow,what an original response!" I say with smirk.

    "I thought you and Bev had a thing." He says and a begin to laugh.

   "Me and Bev! A thing! Never." I say. We laugh for a couple more seconds and then we are back in an awkward silence.

    "Who else knows?" He asks quietly.

    "Only Bev." I say.

    "What about your parents?" He asks. I look down and shack my head.

    "I want to but I feel like I can't trust them anymore." I sigh.

    "Why?" He asks. But I don't respond.
"You don't have to tell me." He says.

    "No..." I say but stop myself from saying anything I will regret.

    "Something happened last year." I say. Suddenly I feel his hand on mine and I look up at him.

    "Richie you can tell me anything." He says.
I know I just met Eddie but I trust him so I tell him about the "incident".

    "Last year at school I had a break down,like a really bad break down. Than that same night I tried to..." I want to say it but I can't.

    I can feel my palms getting sweaty,my heart start to pound and my hands are shacking.

    "Richie..." Eddie says.

    "I've done terrible things to myself." I say so quiet it's almost a whisper.

    "Richie it's gonna be ok." He says to me.
I look up at him and star into his beautiful eyes.

    I feel myself blush and I notice he is too.

    But then his phone goes off. He pulls it out of his pocket and looks at the screen.

    "Oh shit. My mom is calling me! She's gonna be pissed." He says.

    "Do you want me to walk you home?" I ask. He looks at me and smiles.

    "Sure."

    I walk him to his front porch.

    "Thanks Richie." He says blushing.

    "No probably,Eds." I say and I can feel myself blush.

    "Ok,talk to you tomorrow?" He asks. I smile.

    "Of course."

    Suddenly,as I'm about to walk away he leans in and kisses my cheek.

   "Bye." He says and walks into his house. I just stand there touching my cheek.

    I walk home still feeling my cheek. I go home and lay on my bed and there is only one thing on my mind. Eddie.
